Israeli combat soldiers walk along the Israeli northern border with Lebanon. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is pursuing a new round of Middle East diplomacy as the Lebanon conflict moved into its 19th day, with Israel and Hezbollah exchanging firepower and threats in defiance of international moves toward a ceasefire
Now you did it. This thread is going to become thud-filled!

Ginsburg: Let's not play that game Alan, you and I both know what's going on here..."
He gave Alan Colmes a BIG TIME dressing down. It was priceless.
Both of them had to educate Alan on the timeline..and who REALLY started this.
LOL

BINGO...I saw a similar report on CNN a while ago...but I felt it too "manufactured" to post it here.
The Media..and especially the DEMS do NOT want Condi to be seen in a good light, no matter what happens.
Marc Ginsberg was great. The past few weeks he has been on a roll and what is more interesting, he is a democrat.
Having lived in the area, etc. he gets it.
Dutchgirl, your little buddy, bvw, is an idiot.
ditto!

Ouch, Alan! That's gonna leave a Mark...Ginsberg. ;o)
Maybe. But, I doubt they have any Command & Control capability after IDF has broken basic servive. The rocket launchers will just carry on.
Geez! ;-)

Haaretz: Even though the prime minister announced that Israel will continue its attacks against Hezbollah, even after the sad incident at Qana, and will not accept the demand for an immediate, unconditional cease-fire - he did accede to the American request to limit air-force operations in the area of Beirut. This will be done on condition that Hezbollah will not expand its attacks against other towns in Israel, as its leader, Nasrallah, has recently threatened.
The goalposts just keep moving. Unless i'm reading this wrong, Nasarallah is safe in his south beirut hideyhole so long as he doesn't fire rockets at towns he hasn't already hit (read south of Afula). So am i to understand Nasarallah can keep firing rockets at Afula and points northward and be safe in southern beirut. Folks, this game is done if Hizbullah wants it to be. They've been given an out if they so choose
You have a way with metaphors...
Thanks.

Well, Lady MacBeth, how *do* you wash your hands at night?
And he said 'Alan, you want to play this game?' 'Can I finish?' LMAO
That tomato - sounds so yummy. I got my first one today from Mama's plants. I am having it for breakfast
Thanks, wolf.
Condi is not only up for the job but you know she is doing good when the drive by media slams her like Andrea Mitchell and as others have reported CNN calling this Condi's war.
That was BRILLIANT. Ginsburg was actually...passionate.
Now Jennifer Griffin is having to explain to Greta this is NOT a ceasefire...
I think I heard him say when this started that his mom lives in northern Israel, and that he knows the whole area like the back of his hand.
I'm usually pretty impressed with what he has to say, he's an American. :-)
