Possibly, but Syria will deny it, and short of invasion we can't prove it. We know Syria had WMDs of their own and we did nothing about it.

That would be because, although "The Chinless Wonder" is nowhere near the politically astute and canny wolf his father was, he isn't a total idiot, either. Give any of those little "toys" to Hezbollah, and they would in short order use them on Israel which would spell the doom of not only Bashir Assad's reign, but the entire nation of Syria as well...

Because Israel would not hesitate to nuke Hezbollah held territory and Syria if they were used.
