I don't think that's true. Nukes for Israel will the weapon of last resort.
They inflict massive amounts of civilian casualties and will not accomplish the military objective.
The best way for Israel to eliminate any support for it after a chemical artillery shell landing within its territory would be for them to respond with a nuke.
