My wife worked at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle up to four years ago.
When my daughter turned 6, we held a water-party in the backyard with a pool, sprinklers, squirt guns, water balloons, etc. Many Jewish kids from the neighborhood and our local Jewish day school attended.
Not one mother let their child go home with their brightly colored squirt gun, because it was shaped like a gun.
Now that I'm in North Dakota, I'm armed to the teeth, and my daughter knows how to use the guns. Any Muzzies want to take on the armed Jewish contingent up here will have to contend with me and my well armed Christian neighbors.
Good plan. Stick together and cover each other.
How do you like it there? I've lived in Seattle most of my life and pretty much hate it. Moving to a saner place would be awfully nice one day.
If you go to KING 5 and watch the video "Victims flee Seattle shooting" you can see some of the victims escaping, pretty upclose. Don't know if that helps or not, but perhaps your wife will recognize some of them.
I think it's time for another water-party for the kids, with squirt guns. Wonder how many moms will react the same? "Can I have a couple extra, please?"
I 91 runs down through our area, straight from the Quebec border.
A guy ran the border two days ago.
Arrested and charged after a 5 mile high speed chase, raod block stopped him.
. No news yet as to his profile.
"Patti Simon was at work at the federation's newspaper on the first floor when she heard screaming, shots and what sounded like furniture crashing on the floor above. "We heard this horrible screaming on the floor above us and shots," said Simon, 52, who sells advertising at the paper. "We didn't know what was happening." Simon called up to her co-workers on the second floor, but got no answer, so she called the police and fled the building.
"People got shot, some of our co-workers," Simon said, her voice shaking. "I just got back from Israel and made it out of there a half hour before the rockets started."
Simon said the federation has security in the building. "Somebody must have lied their way in," Simon said.
Marla Meislin-Dietrich not injured,btw.
