Frankly, I think the problems with the UN are inherent in that sort of organization. A new organization would most likely be just more of the same. People are people, power corrupts and all that.

We should be making our deals on our own without socialist, marxist, and islamofascist nations deciding when and who we should be dealing with.

Perhaps you are correct, but at least we shouldn't have to house and fund these Star Wars bar dregs. Some place in Old Europe - like Brussels or The Hague - seems much more fitting.
