Lebanese President Emil Lahoud said today that he supports the Hizbullah terrorist organization.
"I support the Hizbullah because they liberated our land," Lahoud said, adding that the Lebanese army does not have the wherewithal to confront the IDF, but that it will defend Lebanon as much as it can.
Hizbullah is a part of the current Lebanese government, with one of its members serving as Lebanon's minister of energy. Lahoud is widely regarded by Lebanese citizens as a Syrian agent in the country's regime.

----------------------------
They should cite President Bush's Doctrine on supporting terrorists and make the war symmetric, state vs state, no holds barred.
The only folks who benefit from asymmetric war doctrine are terrorists and their silent supporters. We have to get away from that doctrine I'm sorry to say/ And I'm only sorry to say it because in the short run it would cause more collateral crap. But in the long run, it would save lives and destruction.
When the Lebaneese hotties start marching in the streets again like they did during the Cedar Revolution, they'll at least have my attention.
Israel...go for it!

Finally, some honesty. Stupid, but honest.
Forget it! I want my piece, paid for it fair and square with taxes and foreign aid to Israel. There's a beach condo somewhere in Lebanon with my name on it. Someone else can have the women.
Yep, and as W once said, anyone supporting terrorists are our enemies. The Leb. Prez better reconsider his ill advised bias. Or it is on to his maker for him. IDF forces might take him out with that evil dolt, Nazra.
I'm sure he'll be very happy living in exile from Lebanon with Hizbollah. Unless of course he winds up turning on the same spit over a slow fire in Hell, which is where much of Hizbollah is winding up.
Unfortunately, I think the Lebanese government's status would have to significantly improve in order to be a "puppet" of anybody.
Given the politics of the area, "doormat" may be more appropriate.
