#1 Michelle Persaud, 27
Staff counsel
Michelle Persaud’s delicate features burst into a smile as she describes the mistake many men make with her.
Seeing her dark eyes and mocha skin, her flowing black tresses and expansive lashes, they sidle over, take in a breath and start speaking … Farsi!
“I just look at them and smile,” the Maryland native, who has no Persian ancestry, says with a chuckle. “I get that all the time.”
Persaud is the winner of our annual 50 Most Beautiful contest. But as you will see in the following pages, there is no shortage of beautiful people working on Capitol Hill.

Well, the one on the left works for a Louisiana Republican and the one of the right works for a Massachusetts Democrat.
It's funny about blondes--I often pick out strangers and women in magazine pictures who are blonde and say that's the kind I like, yet I don't think I've ever dated one. The only women I've had relationships with have been brunettes or redheads. Not sure what that means exactly, probably that I should be put away. :P
But it's her own.
Definitely not...read the whole thing and you'll see what I mean.
I don't know. Those eyes look rather...sinister.
I would hit that like a Supreme Court gavel.
ALL RISE!
Girl needs to go easy on the eye make up....her eyes look buggy! Nice looking people on the hill, but none of them really strike me as handsome or gorgeous. I've seen better.
You know what they say: "Politics is showbiz for ugly people!"
To quote Austin Powers, "I don't go looking for danger. It comes looking for me"
BTW - male or female, a large number of these work/are for R's, not D's. (not that I am complaining)
Very nice, but what do they look like w/o makeup, great lighting?

In a past life as a single guy, I dated several "blondes"
..... and the drapes never seem to match the carpet.
You had to mention that name, right? There's a kind of "bettlejuice" effect once you do, you know...

Beauty is but a light switch away?
You said that with the sole purpose of getting someone to post it without doing it yourself so you wouldn't get the blame. Fess up.
Were any of these 50 at Duke Cunningham's card games? The list should be called Top 50 Reasons Congressman cheat on their spouses!
LOL
Well, some real hotties there, and a couple warmies too.
I guess it's a good thing old slick willie is out of office too.
Fake blonde hair, too much makeup, and the sure sign of lack of beauty is when the woman refuses to just pose looking directly into the camera in full light. Because full light will expose the wrinkles, aged skin, and lousy hair.
The article says she's 28 but my guess is she's 35, and that in the morning she looks like h-ll.
Now, for real beauty, any of these lasses will do just fine.
