Agreed, 20 mile plus or minus buffer. This time they won't leave it up to the UN to disarm South Lebanon. All Arms will be captured or destroyed and the Israelis will have a lot more to say on who will be in a Peace Force, or they will occuppy indefinitely. Koffi wants a 1 month extension of the current useless force so he can put a UN force in and then get further extensions under 1559, but the UN had its shot and failed to press for the disarmament of Hexbollahazzahola. Nato is looking it over and if so, Canadians might lead in along with French and Brazilian troops, or some such other array. The Syrians must be kept out. I notice on the map that there are no UN outposts on the Lebanese , South Lebanon border. There need to be many. The Lebanese Government needs to impound any and all illicit arms in transit from whatever source, or it can never become a nation.

"Conditions on the ground in Iraq".
It's time to look at conditions on the ground in Iran.
Iraq is our forward support base.

A lot of the German hatred toward "International Socialists" was the Ethnic cleansing of germans from eastern Europe during the Polish Wars of the Early 20's, in which nearly 2 million ethnic Germans were killed...
Hence the "National Socialism" over "International Socialism"...

The courts are unlikely to violate the separation of powers Doctrine here. POTUS is in charge of the issue, and the Lebanese of America have the ballot box.
It's a publicity stunt.

When CNN originally aired their Hezzie Propaganda Tour of S. Beirut I found myself yelling outloud at the TV. And that's not something I remember doing.
Oddly, I then flipped the dial and saw it come up again. This time I was able to note my mumbling out loud and viewed it as an improvement.
CNN has no shame.

I think thew difference in those days was between the "Nationalist" socialists and the "Internationalist" socialists Correct. The Globalists of the day were just as nutty and the nationalists.

One thing about Americans is their dire need for "instant gratification". Most of us want everything NOW. It's not going to happen in the WOT.
