Hezbollah terrorists fire a missile from the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
Explains the phrase "First, kill all the lawyers". ;^)
Prairiebreeze calls the presence of CAIR in America, 'Unconscionable'.
We're even.
If Lebanon does not fulfill its obligations to enforce resolution 1559, then the UN has to take notice and deal with Lebanon and those assisting in its violation, namely Syria and Iran.

(sorry for the second post)
How do you know nothing will be accomplished??
Besides "substantive" is a relative term...kind of hard to judge at this moment...we may not know what, if anything, "substantive" may be accomplished for weeks, months...
In the meantime...what did it hurt?? It showed the Sec or State of the USA going to a city that MSNBC was saying last night was a rubbled out ghost town...(not so much, eh MSBNC?)....talking to the person that HAS to be told what the stakes are from OUR position...
Dunno why that is so bad..
BTW..I saw Karen Hughes at the big table with Condi..I thought that was interesting.
I would like to point out that we have not heard the lock-step support of Hizbollah that we would have heard several years ago. She would not have gone to the region unless something productive could be accomplished.
White house press briefing. TONY SNOW ALERT!
Good slap down of that reporter, Tony!!
Please don't be so PC, just tell how you feel. LOL
FOX breaks away from presser so Bill Hemmer can show us a Katushya rocket remnant. Sheesh...switching to C-span.
He is doing a good job.
I will work on that...LOL

19:06 Seven Lebanese civilians, including two children, killed by IDF; 42 wounded (AFP)
18:24 Egyptian President Mubarak calls for immediate cease-fire in Lebanon (AP)
that is interesting....if I remember correctly, and I may not, Karen Hughes was rehired to promote Islam as a religion of "peace"
Sometimes it's not the deals made. It's feeling out the people first hand, it's the visible going through the motions that count more than any constructive action. And sometimes its going there and saying, No Quick Cease Fire That Doesn't Resolve Anything face to face.
Saddam agreed to a feeding tube?
Yep.
I'm in agreement with you. Anytime diplomats start talking, you know there's a cr@ppy deal being cooked up that will ruin any strategic objectives that could have been achieved when the good guys are taking it to the bad guys.
Hopefully, Condi's marching orders are to take her sweet time, say on the same schedule they're dealing with Iran (years) and give the IDF to do the Terminix thing on the Hizzies. If that's what she's really doing, the visit might not hurt anything too much, but I tend to be suspicious, especially if the policy is massaged by the State Department.
He did it willingly. That's an odd "hunger strike".
