Hezbollah terrorists fire a missile from the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
"WHY they haven't gotten the electricity up in the borough that hasn't had it for weeks!!"
Does the fact that they are dimmocrats make a difference?
Maybe I should hop over and take pictures... so we can compare Chuck and Hill with Blanco and Nagin... since they love the Katrina references.
Let's not forget the mysterious power outage across states that was never explained (enough for me anyway) last year.

TEHRAN, Iran - Hezbollah's representative in Iran struck a defiant tone Monday, warning that his Islamic militant group plans to widen its attacks on Israel until "no place" is safe for Israelis.
Hossein Safiadeen also reinforced earlier threats by Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah to widen the scope of attacks, which have included unprecedented missile strikes deep into northern Israel.
"We are going to make Israel not safe for Israelis. There will be no place they are safe," Safiadeen told a conference that included the Tehran-based representative of the Palestinian group Hamas and the ambassadors from Lebanon, Syria and the Palestinian Authority.
"You will see a new Middle East in the way of Hezbollah and Islam, not in the way of Rice and Israel..."
Beautiful
Yep, I think your bail would be made, Ali. And for any other FReepers as well.
re: UN calls for USD 150 million in emergency aid for Lebanon
Wait a minute, I thought Hiz was a social service agency and not a terror entity? Can't they along with the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Arab League and Ahmgettingahardon take care of them?
Let them eat missiles.
I'm holding you to it.
YES, it does make the difference...
I haven't heard ANY Media person give that story the attention nationally that it needs...
My goodness, it goes without saying what the MSM would be doing if this was Bush's fault...and I guess Hill and Chuckie haven't found a way to blame him...or THEY would be having press conferences outside of apartment buildings with kids, just sick from the heat..
And black people standing out there saying that Bush hates black people and that is why he hasn't gotten their electricity back on...
TO ME, this omission by the MSM is as bad, if not worse than the crapola they spew about President Bush that isn't true.
It was close last Monday... since the UN had scores of folks down there, I decided to harass the ten pro-terror anti-Israel protestors a block over (of which one was Palestinian... supposedly). I used reason... they started foaming... the cops were laughing when they asked me to just leave and ignore them.
Why do you say it is silly for Condi to have gone over there?
I think you are kidding...but I think it is a great idea...
If there haven't been protests in that area of town, there SHOULD BE...I know I would be protesting, finding any TV camera I could...if I was living there.
CHRISTIAN EFFORTS TO ASSIST REFUGEES
445 now being sheltered in Byblos
This little child is a refugee from Tyre. Note that more than 55 people were killed in Tyre, the town of this little boy. All those who were killed were innocent civilians.
Thursday July 20, 2006
That's how it looked like, the morning of Thursday July 20, 2006, after a bloody day that took the lives of 65 people. The coast is burning by the Israeli War Machine (IWM). These are not black clouds. This, instead, is the black smoke caused by the destruction on the coast.
Today, we gave food to the refugees and finally they got mattresses. Now, they can sleep no more on the ground. In the evening, we, the people of this town, had an evening prayer for peace before the Blessed Sacrament. We read Scriptures from 1 John 4:7-16 (God is love), Matthew 5:38-48 (offer no resistance to the wicked... love your enemies...), Matthew 25:34-40 (I was hungry and you gave me food...). There were a few Muslim brothers from Tyre who were present with us during the evening prayer.

Today, the refugees lacked water. This is a serious problem. If there is no water, there is no life or health. So, I went to another town and bought 38 gallons of water. With the help of 3 guys, we filled the gallons from a source of water and brought them to the refugees. We refilled them twice. Each family got 1 gallon. Something must be done for tomorrow.
In my town, we have no effective political parties or civil organizations to help. It is just the monks (myself and my superior) who are taking initiatives to help these innocent people. In addition to the monks we have the Red Cross and Caritas, but their capacity is limited.
Note that the people of my town experienced the bitterness of displacement and wars in the 80s until early 90s. I felt relief when each family got water. There was a moment after this hard work to sit down with the people of Tyre and talk to them.
Saturday July 22, 2006
There is a stream of cars passing throughout the day through our town. People are moving in great numbers from the South to the North. Israel threw thousands of leaflets in the South threatening the Southerners, obliging them to leave their houses and towns. Israel is living in the Old Testament. How far can the hardness of heart go?
Today, the IWM (Israeli War Machine) destroyed the Lebanese communication towers. It is not good news. That means we might not be able to communicate through cell phones, TV, Radio, Internet in the next few days.
In the morning, I bought bread. I filled my trunk with bread and cheese. Thanks to my superior, the bakery is still working in the town. He provided flour despite dangerous risks, because the IWM targeted many trucks in the country.
In the afternoon, we sent clothes to children & adults. I had a very deep conversation with the southerners. It was a religious conversation. There were Muslims and Druze participating. Jesus was the center of the conversation and He was there with us.
We agreed that we should pray together, tomorrow, for the people who are in danger.
LOL! Good job. I'm pretty sure I'd have long since been in jail by now for assault.
It helps that the cops probably agree with you 100%.
"I agree! If a mosque is used for war supplies storage as all the terrorists do, they should be considered a target!"
----
Agreed. It shouldn't even be discussed: If terrorists co-opt these institutions (hospitals, schools, mosques, etc) for military purposes, it is the responsibility of the indigent people to remove them or STFU when they are destroyed. This lesson needs to be taught often.
Well, then, I do believe they have thrown down the gauntlet..and now it is up to Condi to tell the group in Rome...that any and all complaints about Israel's actions should cease and desist after those remarks.
After all...he spelled it out...and now Israel has those remarks to point to..when they say they are fighting for their very lives and existence...NOT LAND!
DITTO...what you said
Thanks for the map of the airstrikes.
