Hezbollah terrorists fire a missile from the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
When I get home, maybe I'll look for "Dirty Jobs" with Mike Rowe. Anybody see the segment about the pig farm recycling leftovers from Las Vegas restaurants and buffets? OMG, my wife and I nearly passed out from almost continuously laughing for what, 20, 30 minutes? Heck, I'm laughing now with tears in my eyes just thinking about it...
were these planes shot down?
They need to take a lesson from king hussein, and drive them completely out of Southern Lebanon...
Close off the area completely, drive the civilians out, smoke the bad guys out of thier holes, clean up the place, and then ONLY allow civilians back in through tighlty controlled choke points......
That is the ONLY way they can avoid a repeat of the 80's war. The question is, do they have the stones to pull it off??
I am guessing it was from the two that collided...
"actually the troops are going to be sent to baghdad from other areas of Iraq."
That's what I heard too.
OK.
What I want to know is, are we going to start having a "House Hunters Live Thread" now? :)
A helicopter got tangled in electric wires this morning and went down killing both on board. It happened near where Mike Tobin of Fox was reporting early this morning.
Gillerman on OReilly now
I've never watched that show (Dirty Jobs). I guess I should!
Everyone else has been talking about commercials - the bad Head On commercial and the good Iraqi Kurd commercial.
Has anybody seen the commercial where the man and the woman are in their house and the man says 'Honey, what's this switch for?' He starts flipping the switch to see what happens. Nothing. Then it pans to an outside shot and the garage door down the street is banging into the hood of a woman's car as he flips the switch.
I practically roll on the floor every time I see that commercial. I can't even remember what the product is, though, so it probably isn't that effective at selling me anything.
They have not been given a choice. They either do it or fight a long term war of attrition that they do not have the population to survive.
Back on O'Reilly, now.
like CNN, they keep showing bombings and attacks from days before - with no context, to make people believe these attacks are occurring every hour.
Forgot to mention, I think Mike Rowe's on, um, Discover Channel? Great clean "dirty" fun. Like a little boy playing in the mud, but there's a technical side to it, besides the comic relief.
Gillerman is good.
But OReilly starts his show saying "the terrorists are winning" because people don't take the war on terror seriously. then he focuses on "bad PR" on the israel Beirut attack. were we worried about "bad PR" when we bombed Dresden?
Me too...watching the wonderful Israeli UN delegate:)
