#109, Russert looks like the "incredible bulk" when he is questioning (harassing,haranguing,interrogating) a Pubbie as he hunches over and gets in the face of the Pubbie. Then he all but French kisses the Demoncrat as he lobs one soft ball leading question after another to them. He long ago stopped even trying to appear as a non biased Journalist. One good thing, he does not segue' every topic of conversation into a slam on tax cuts which it seemed he did every Sunday for about two Years. I guess he looks like a bloody fool now since the Tax cuts led to the good economy, and he does not want to make himself look worse.

Yesterday's Dem radio talk was by a woman who Never mentioned the words "federal funding" in her five minute objection to the President's veto. She may have said "embryonic" once or twice.

Ramesh Ponnuru is on CSPAN2 discussing his latest book "The Party of Death" - well worth watching. I have read the book and highoy recommend it to learn reasoned "pro-life" arguments.

Adult stem cell research has resulted in from 9-72 successes in treatments....the number depending on different sources. Embryonic stem cell research, however, has ZERO results to date.

Kennedy et al is deliberately spreading the lie that President Bush has vetoed a bill that would allow embryonic stem cell research....not so. Bush vetoed a bill that called for tax money to fund that research.

I was being sarcastic in my 'is he a retired general or former SecDef' remark. lol. He acted like he was such an expert on all things military. Too many of these reporters/columnists/news-readers think they are experts on subjects.
