Virginia has had a few problems with electrocutions in the nearly 25 years since the state resumed use of the chair, which was built out of oak in 1909. In 1990, blood was seen streaming from a condemned man's mask. The following year, an inmate needed extra jolts to kill him after he survived the first round.

It took 5 minutes to fry Ethel Rosenberg, and the ol' Sparky in Florida gained notoriety a few years ago when the murderer's mask went up in flames during the execution. Lethal injection doesn't quite compare with the mishaps that can occur with electrocution. I really don't think those guards liked the prisoner when they were scaring him into electrocution over lethal injection.

This is not about the convict but the process. If you have ever seen any footage of electrocution it is about one the most horrific things to ever see. I wont describe it, but for one hint the the blindfolds have more than one purpose.

And as usual the physiologist scientists have it wrong in several areas, and essentially the convict cooks just like the hotdog on an electric cooker. Poison gas is pretty horrific too.

Bottom line is a healthy human body does not give up life easy. No one is saying the convicts don't need to die for their murders, but I say give up all the sugarcoating for the PC public.

It's possible that executions may happen in those states if they meet certain guidelines/"federal case". Someone was put to death in Vermont recently. From last year:

Clearly there are always members of society around who get their kicks from torturing people and delight in seeing others suffer. That is why it is never hard to staff a torture chamber. I suppose you gentelmen would be just glowing if you lived a society where that was permitted.

However the United States bars cruel and unusual punishment. Your statement are absolutely without morals or conscience and totally bent on a barbaric vengeance likely combined with a slightly sociopathic blood-lust.
