Not sure which of these it was, so I'll give you both below.
And no, they're not out yet...they're going very early tomorrow morning (Sat AM Lebanon time) and hoping by then. It sounded like most of the whiniest folks are out, so now it's not quite as 'ugly' down there as it had been other days this week.
There's a whole new system they're trying, so they're hoping that between many people getting out already, and the new system, and getting there really, really early, that they may be on their way tomorrow... :-)

I'm sure that your girls are well aware of the dangers, and are keeping their eyes open. Those kinds of letters are an opening salvo for them. I don't believe anyone would make fun of girls wearing hijab. I'd take notice and all, but I certainly wouldn't be rude. Be vigilant, especially now that we're getting all kinds of new found citizens.

Well, Edwards AFB is approximately 30 miles away. We live up above the Mojave desert, in the mountains(below Wrightwood). Now mind you, my bf saw them, his little boy and I heard them. Poor kid thought we were going to get bombed or something. This was at the height of the Yucca Valley fire, which was 40 miles away from us.
The direction was towards Yucca Valley(due east), from maybe the west. Been a long time since jets flew over my house :)
