They must have war zone pay in their contracts....plus, their reporting was hardly earth shattering, most of it 18 hours old by the time it is aired.

I was thinking the same thing..

WHY would they leave now??

Surely they don't think that the Israelis who have NEVER gotten anything GOOD from the UN, will OBEY Kofi's orders, do they??

Don't they want to be there to see Condi's visit??

OH..they want blood and guts and they aren't allowed the access that they want from the Israelis...so they will take their toys and go home.

BTW..fwiw, Shep Smith aside...I think that Fox's "regular" reporters from there, Mike Tobin, Jennifer Griffin and Amy Kellog are 10 TIMES better than any from other networks.

The IAF pilot is one very sharp young man. Shep came on with a semi-adversarial interview, pushing the Lebanese civilian aspect, and the man was unphased. He gave a great summation of his country's fight for its right to survive, and showed the world once again why his side is the one in the white hats.

They keep rerunning this interview.... worse than the OBL tapes...

I still think he is positioning himself to take over the PLO also....at least during attacks on Israel.

That WWIII ain't goin quite the way PravdABDNC or Newt planned?? This is a continuation of the destruction of terrorist networks. Hezboli is showing how anemic it is as a fighting force.

4 soldiers injured in helicopter crash near northern border

By YAAKOV KATZ AND JPOST.COM STAFF

Four soldiers were injured overnight Thursday when two IAF Apache attack helicopters crashed near the Israel-Lebanon border.

The condition of the casualties was not yet reported.

The soldiers were set to carry out an operation over Lebanon and it appeared that the helicopters collided on the way, near Ramot Naftali, some 17 kilometers south of Kiryat Shmona.

The cause of the crash was unclear but an initial investigation showed that it was due to a technical failure.

The IAF has conducted over 3000 sorties over Lebanon since Operation Changing Direction commenced last Wednesday.

Moments earlier, it was released for publication that two IDF soldiers were killed and six wounded on Thursday in a heavy exchange of gunfire with Hizbullah guerillas near the village of Maroun a-Ras, adjacent to Moshav Avivim but on the Lebanese side of the border.

Ground troops were sent across the border to the same sector as where two soldiers were killed the previous day, in order to engage Hizbullah guerillas that were firing mortar rounds towards Avivim.

Soldiers operating in Maroun a-Ras reported finding rocket launchers, explosives and other weapons in a mosque there.

FNC: House Speaker Hastert asks Intel Chair Hoekstra to go to Israel.

Maybe Hoekstra can figure out what our intelligence agencies don't seem to be able to figure out. Namely, that there is a connection between Iran and Syria and Hamas and Hezbollah.

http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1669431/posts

From the article:

Bush said Iran and Syria were behind Hizbullah rocket attacks as part of Teheran's campaign to undermine the West. On July 15, Bush's national security adviser said the U.S. intelligence community did not have evidence of Iranian or Syrian involvement.

Shep just said that Dennis Hastert has asked House Intelligence leader, Peter Hoekstra to go to Israel..

THAT's all we need, Congress getting their opinions clogging things up.
