The President and the first lady spent the weekend in in Russian where the President was attending the G8 Conference which concluded today.
Today the President attended the sumit and also had some side line meetings.
They arrived back in Washington this afternoon
The Vice President attended a Fund Raiser on Friday for state Sen, Ray Meier, in Utica, N.Y.
Today the Vice President spoke at a luncheon fund raiser for Jeff Lamberti, GOP candidate in the 3rd Congressional District, at the Wakonda Club in Des Moines, Iowa.
Today the Vice President also spoke to and met National Guard troops during a visit to Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa

He drove the cart all 3 days. In my resume of the weekend I have shown a photo of each day of him doing so.

That line was just a passing comment in the movie and really didn't amount to much. What I found offensive was Lois Lane in a live-in unmarried relationship, the kid out of wedlock, and the sacreligious comparisons of Superman to Jesus.
I don't consider Jesus a fairy tale, and I object to the morals of the supposed heroes in the film. Propaganda unsuited for young minds.

That rug needs to be hanging very prominantly in President Bush's library someday. It is incredible, not just the amount of work that is involved, but the very danger the man was in while making it. As a Muslim, being caught with all those Christian symbols he could have been killed in a most vicious way. But this was important to him.
The last third of the new Superman movie had to be written by Al Gore ~~ it was that bad!
With the exception of Chirac, GWB seems to like these people, and they like him. I especially like the pictures of him with Koizumi, Merkel and Putin. They obviously enjoy each other's company.
