Well, like I said, I didn't see it all. I did see a post about taking a self-imposed time out.
Been there bunches but listen live links just go nowhere.
Did I miss it again??
that's the best part!
First of all, I don't believe "many". Unless maybe there was a tour group from New Orleans there. :o)
I don't think you need to add a thing to that sofa.
I'm wondering why Anderson Cooper moved to Cyprus to report. Does CNN have anyone on the ground in Israel now that they moved Cooper? I can't remember.
lol...point taken..
CNN is trying to do a "Katrina" on these evacs.
hey kiddo! There was plenty that I wanted to add, but won't. We have our own over there...
There was talk earlier of a media blackout but I'm beginning to wonder if that only applied to CNN since Fox is obviously not in a blackout.

Here is the thread I was thinking about..but, I am not sure this is where Chrissy got his quotes from Clinton..but, they were like these.
Major Bob was on Gibson's radio show for about 5 minutes..and I got the feeling that Gibson wasn't really happy with him....he played his over the top remarks on TV the other day...but, Bob was much more subdued tonight..
I have a feeling he was "told" he might want to tone it down, by Fox....LOL
"CNN is trying to do a "Katrina" on these evacs."
speaking of that...

Got it, thanks. I switched to opera browser after my puter crashed so much and been to fox.com but links don't work for some reason. I'll keep trying but bookmarked your link.
Colmes?
A Mr. Kurtzer, former Amb. to Israel...is on CNN...and he is saying that he thinks they are at the "apex" of the military fighting..and by the end of the week..it will all be "done" by negotiations.
so is this the late night- no 24/7 news after 11:00 pm thread?
;-)
Hey sofa, you and Lady sofa going to go to the Freedom Concert? SoCal and I are going (along with my DH and DD) DH wasn't too keen on going until I told him Ann Coulter was going to be there. He got the tickets licketty split! LOL
not good. if there is no ground assault, hezbollah will just move right back up to the border. they have 11000 rockets, 900 have been used, figure the same number destroyed. they still have plenty of assets there.
Because he had to find a way to be 'busy' doing something... ;-)
How else could he justify showing that Captain Boez of the IDF piece again today........after we got to see it at least half dozen times yesterday, too........LOL.
Now we can have reruns tonight not only of the shows we watched all afternoon (despite many networks now having double crews in most places and plenty of live on scene crew who could carry on with showing us real news all night...beyond 2 minutes every 30 minutes with a live update) but we can ALSO have reruns of the reruns from yesterday :-)
Well...I'm sure that's not how HE justified needing to be in Cyprus (bet Shep shows up there next!)...those two (Anderson and Shep) looked WAY more scared than the other on scene reporters at their respective networks)......but that's my scenario for why he went. LOL
