I thought he would answer her, so I didn't. When I got back on, I looked up sofaman's posts, because I had calculated sofakid was due at a certain time, my time, while I was AFK.

Sure enough, the sofalad arrived in London, called sofaman from a friend's house there and was still anxious to go back to Israel. Maybe sofaman will come and comment further.

This is why normal people cannot be President. I watch my tongue very carefully and try hard to never swear. However, most Americans deep down probably think Bush is 1000% correct is swearing at Hezbollah and in fact it may have actually positively shocked the ME a little. (ME- "If Bush is THAT mad we're all in trouble.") I'm in favor of Bush letting one loose strategically to help the idiots understand how upset he is.

24th MEU helps 64 Americans evacuate Lebanon

http://www.estripes.com/article.asp?section=104&article=38696

Marines from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit evacuated 43 Americans from Lebanon on Monday as part of ongoing evacuation efforts, officials said.

Currently, there are three CH-53 Super-Stallion helicopters in Cyprus ferrying U.S. citizens out of Lebanon with more such helicopters expected to arrive Tuesday, said Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman.

Additionally, the Navy is sending the destroyer USS Gonzalez to escort a Greek commercial ship contracted to ferry U.S. citizens from Lebanon to Cyprus, Whitman said.

The Greek ship is capable of transporting 750 passengers at one time, and will be available for evacuation efforts starting Tuesday, he said.

I like Woolsey, too bad Clinton didn't see fit to speak with him once in over a year.

$3.09 would be a good price on the East coast! I paid $3.29 the other day. I saw a gas station with regular at $3.09 yesterday and the lines were into the road.

I wouldn't be surprised if high value items and targets head for the hills.

How do you say "Dugout Doug" in Arab?

I suspect it'll be the customary, "Okay, guys, this'll be a fight to the death. So, you fight it.... I'm outta here" routine we've gotten so used to from the terrorists.

I have to drive 4 hours to pick up one of my kids from camp this weekend. I won't let my car get below 3/4 of a tank right now. I will try to relax a little more after this trip.
