oh my...didn't think of the Bekaa Valley. Israel turns up Saddam's WMD's...happy b'day Pres Bush...
She wasn't in Hollywood when she made these comments, but instead was hosting "The Big Story". She had a guest on that called Brokeback Mountain "a piece of trash". Julie retorted by saying "it's not trash, it's a wonderful story".
It is disappointing, but I've pretty much accepted the fact that any woman who is in the entertainment business or the news business has to be liberal in some required areas, like abortion and gay rights. If one doesn't come out in support of these things, and they're a woman, they might as well forget their prospects of getting anywhere. If there are conservatives who aspire to the top positions, they are weeded out before they can ever get close to the top.
lol~! I think rather than even try to catch up, I'll just jump in with both feet!
Dear Pres Clinton,
Thanks for nothing.
Signed, RM & Sofadude
I believe that is old news, no longer valid. I read that article in the Telegraph co. uk, which was providing the happenings of the day.
That John Prescott Ellis, a full cousin of George W. Bush, was one of four consultants assigned by the Voter News Service to Fox News on night of the 2000 Presidential election; thus he was part of the team that recommended Fox News be the last to retract its call of Florida for Al Gore and the first to call Florida for Bush, which Fox News did at 2:16 a.m [8]. Though all major networks called Florida for Bush by 2:20 a.m., Ellis has since admitted to informing both Jeb and George Bush several times by telephone of how projections were going on election night. [9]
My daughter and her family had to evacuate from the home in Safed to Haifa, and now they have left Haifa for Jerusalem. And no potato chips.
Notice it's the Christians that are providing care for the evacuees.
If i were Bush i'd be telling Olmert "hey listen, if you guys happen to go into Lebanon do you mind taking a look see in the Bekka for some of those pesky ol' WMDs"
I don't know. I didn't see that. I hope not. I have a SLU grad. That would be disappointing.
Prayers for their safety.
Prayers for your daughter and her family Alouette.
oh, oops...sorry
I never watch H&C (unless George Allen is a guest). Speaking of which, I did catch the end of his appearance this morning on Fox News Sunday which was carried on the local Fox channel, thank goodness. (BTW just when I think my opinion of Dodd can't go any lower, it does.)
That is one result that I have been hoping comes out of this. ;0)
Good...I hope he stays alive.
good point.
they cannot evacuate all those rockets and missiles. if israel goes in there with a blitz like armored column, and cuts their escape routes, something has to happen.
SAMs have been in the Bekaa valley for decades. Remember when Lebanon was a paradise?
Dumb argument....are you half-southern Baptist?
Well, if you would bother to read my earlier post, actually I am half Catholic and half Lutheran. How's that for a combination? You can say dumb argument as much as you want. It doesn't stop most people from thinking that someone who has one Jewish parent, is half Jewish. The definition of Jewish is thought of in both religious and secular terms, and you know it. I'm tired of arguing with people who don't want to see the elephant in the room. You go by your religious definition. Most of the rest of the world thinks, incorrectly as to the religious roots of Judaism, that anyone who is born of a Jewish parent, whether one or both, is of Jewish heritage, and thinks of them as one-half Jewish if one of their parents are. Wesley Clark himself thought that way and made a big thing of his being of Jewish heritage through his father's line. I'm tired of arguing the obvious here. End of discussion.
