I invite you to pray as well for innocents in the Middle East and the world who are at risk because of blind hate and aggression of the controllers of their culture.

The State of Israel is a valuable ally and friend to the US and the rest of the Free World against Radical Islam, and I wish them well.

My reading of Hebrews 8 clearly places the new covenant sometime in the future: it does not yet exist now, and the State of Israel does not yet embrace it.

Israel does not yet recognize their Messiah. They killed Him 2000 years ago, and have not owned up to this crime.

So, as a Christian I cannot, in any honesty, pray for to God thru Jesus (my Savior and their spurned Messiah) for Divine Intervention on behalf of Israel until such time as they do.

Ask 'em: if Jesus returns to Earth tomorrow, whose side are you on? Ask yourself: it's a binary question.

I can and do wish the State of Israel well -- tho' I wish they'd use Diplomacy a bit more often than they use Reprisal. And I'll thank them to never again send Mossad spies into New Zealand to identity-theft Passports off our invalid citizens, as they have tried to do.

But pray for the intervention of the Almighty on their behalf? Can't. Not until they change their attitude.

Father, thank you that you are in control and will protect your beloved, Israel. Please be with the innocents at this time or war. Be with our leaders that they would support Israel and come to her aid as needed. Help us all to stand strong in the face of evil and to have the fortitude to do what must be done to put an end to the evil for once and for all. In Jesus' holy name we pray. Amen.

MAY it be Your will, Lord our God and God of our fathers, that these Psalms which we have read before You today should come to You favorably, and be accepted before you as if King David Your anointed one – peace be on him – had said them himself. Please take action for the sake of Your Holy names which are written in them, and which are alluded to in them, and accept with mercy and favor our prayers and requests, so that our supplications reach You. Have pity, show concern and extend mercy to the captives, Ehud ben Malka Goldwasser; Eldad ben Tovah Regev; and Gilad ben Aviva Shalit, and save them, showing redemption and mercy, together with all captives and prisoners from Your nation Israel.

MAY the One who can liberate captives release them from their detention, deliver them from captivity to liberty, from tyranny to redemption, and from gloom to brightness, and restore them to complete health – a healing of the soul and of the body – and revitalize their spirit, reinvigorate their strength, and help them in happiness and joy; then they will be strengthened and healed and will have eternal happiness.

MAY the merit of the prayers, the cries, and the supplications of the multitudes who plead for them all over the world stand for them as a shield and a protection, freeing them from their captivity. Please tear asunder any negative judgments. May all their merits be presented before You, the Blessed One, and all that they have achieved and done for the sake of our nation and our heritage. Dear Heavenly Father - Thank you for watching over Israel. Thank you, as always, for watching over us too. We know what your Word tells us and we ask for your patience as we watch things unfold, as your timing is perfect. Please grant mercy to all of Israel, her political powers, her military, and her people. Also, please grant wisdom and courage to our leaders as they intervene in these affairs. Protect any Americans who may be in Israel, Lebanon, or any country right now where the terrorists hold sway.
