Saudi Arabia on Thursday blamed "Elements" Inside Lebanon for the violence with Israel, in unusually frank language directed at guerrilla group Hizbullah and its Iranian backers.
"A distinction must be made between legitimate resistance and uncalculated adventures undertaken by elements inside (Lebanon) and those behind them without recourse to the legal authorities and consulting and coordinating with Arab nations," A statement published on the official news agency SPA said. Good for them. Surprising, given the source.

I'm shocked at this. I can't help but wonder if the Saudis have a motive for it. It's hard to believe that they are saying Israel is right in defending itself.

Saudi Arabia has been at odd with Iran since the desert kingdom's inception. It takes a bloodthirsty terrorist to know a bloodthirsty terrorist, and it's the Wahhabi dirtbags against the Iranian Shia nutcases. A pox on both of their houses.

Coming from the biggest funders of Wahabbist terror worldwide, the kindest thing I can say about the Saudi finger wagging at the Hizzy and Hammy terrorists is that I haven't seen such a wanton display of cynicism and hypocrisy since the Brezhnev days in the old CCCP.

Maybe they are trying to distance themselves from Syria and Iran, who claim to represent the whole Muslim world.

Ah. They're just upset that they weren't consulted on how the Jews were to be killed...that's all.

Ain't that the truth. Saudis are just concerned that Hizzys are bringing Armageddon a bit sooner than hoped for. They won't have time to spend all their petro-dollars.
