But to assume that it is faulty from the get-go is not responsible either. The report is, what it is.
Plus we all know the histories of the countries we are dealing with here. That in itself, adds up to quite a lot.

Since Iran still demands demented respect from global terrorist organizations because of the the way it paralyzed the US under the Jimmy Carter, and since they need to kidnap a few Israelis to swap for hundreds of terrorists in Israeli POW camps, I think the Israelis might want to trump this strategy by capturing an entire enemy garrison or camp rather then bombing one.
You did not post a link saying what you claimed was said. You posted a link stating a possibility, and presented it as a certainty. Which makes sense, since it is consistent with your "hope" for full-fledged war involving the US, Israel, Syria and Iran.
