"Bush should make it publicly clear that our policy is that any use of WMDs against Israel will be treated as a nuclear attack on the United States by Iran."
I'm no expert on foreign affairs, war, or even chess strategy, but I'm leaning the same way as you.

we'd have to get through the Zagros Mountains to get to Teheran..... But Israel could attack by air In other words, the US can't get there, but Israel can! Or when you ask directions to a place, "Well, you can't get there from here...."

It's gotten bad, I know. The world has turned into such a dangerous place. It always was, I guess, but we had our heads in the sand for a long time.

Israel is in all likelihood not at all interested in attacking Iran. I dont think uncle sam will be too pleased with any sort of a disturbance in the neighborhood of Iraq.
If theyre sent to Iran, things will just get really complicated.

"Israel is urged to give back land they claimed by winning wars and it hasn't worked out well - giving back that land."The Palis have merely been "sqatting" on that land and claiming it as their own for so long that the left thinks the Palis own it. Their defined "homeland" is on the other side of the Jordan River.

Is there anything that is beyond his control? Can we possibly think that God's purpose is not going to be served in all this?Bump

Normally I think Iran wouldn't be so stupid as to go along with this - it's basically an invitation for Israel to attack their nuclear faciliies. But nowadays they well could be stupid enough, given their insane leader.
What is the possibility Iran takes the transfer and returns the Israeli soldiers in to the UN as a PR move to get everyone off their back?

Dopey and the other dwarves were decapitated by Snow White who had been hiding a machete in her burqa. Did your Haldol prescription expire?

The problem is to prove legally what everybody on the planet knows. War law that is. Considering UN Resolutions 1559 and 1644, the UN can scarcely claim ignorance.

Pssst. I hear that the Iranians are massing troops near their nuclear reactors. Pass it on.

"Are they really that stupid?" No one ever realizes that they're a self-important deranged idiot until they're buried under fourteen tons of concrete and twisted metal. At least that's the way it seems.

Eh? What did Lebanon do? I thought they were on our side? And dyou really think anyone is going to nuke anyone?
To: Xenalyte
To: inkling
If they have nukes then they would have Russian or Pakistani fingerprints all over them. They would have to get the greenlight from Moscow or Islamabad or be prepared to get nuked by those two, as well as the US and Israel. Iran would not be habitable for a long, long time.
