Yeah sure its a general act of war. But just pack up the Hizballah and send them away to Syria and the Israelies will end this General Act of War as generally as they started it.

Wow, they got it right. That's exactly why the airport was attacked. Israel said that if their tourism is destroyed, so would be Lebanon's. Glad that they read FreeRepublic.

Hizbullah seriously miscalculated again and now the IDF is going to rip them a new one . Lebanon should take this opportunity to get rid of these vermin themselves ,once and for all. This is their big chance , they should not be whining about it.

Looks like I'm gonna have to cancel that vacation in Lebanon during a conflict with Israel just because that darn airport is shut down.

Sorry, buster, we aren't playing by your rules anymore, we're playing by Chicago rules. They rough up one of your guys, you put one of their guys in the hospital. They put one of your guys in the hospital, you kill one of their guys, they kill one of your guys, you kill ten of theirs.

Exactly. Did he really think his country could attack Israel and escape unharmed? Lebanon for all practical purposes, is economically out of commission and Hezbollah thought it had bargaining power. Its demonstrated it can abduct Israeli soldiers but it cannot protect the country's infrastructure from punishing Israeli blows. Now THAT is what I call a serious miscalculation on the terrorists' part!
(The Palestinian terrorist regime is the crisis and Israel's fist is the answer.)

I know it's not PC to critisize Israel, but I had the same
thought. Lebanon has become a tourist destination like it was years ago. Is it possible Israel wants to boomb them
back to nothing so they won't be able to recover?

Yep, it is about the strawberries. They thought they had me fooled with the strawberries, but I was onto them. Ha ha ha.
