Building explosion at 32 East 62nd Street. Four story building collapses and is burning. Several people reported trapped in the rubble.
If it's this easy to do, the terrorists wouldn't need to mess with explosives. Just leave a gas value open over the weekend and wait for the first person who shows up Monday morning to flip the switch.
We had a gas leak from some poorly done stove plumbing in my apt building on the Upper West Side once. I noticed it as soon as I walked into the lobby when I got home in the afternoon. I went around and found that it was coming from an apartment on the second floor, and I called the fire department and rang all the bells on that floor to see if there were any neighbors home.
You're lucky that; 1) There's still a floor there and 2) You didn't kill everyone - including yourself.
Hadn't thought about that:
Michael Moore + Taco Bell Value Menu = deadly combination
"How about a Freeper rushing to post that the Pentagon and the White House say it is not terrorist activity.
(Personally I don't know how they can rule this out so quickly, but that's what they say)"
At this point in American life, a nuclear bomb could go off in mid-town Manhattan and the government would deny it as being terrorist related.
I doubt this incident is, but you're right.......the government issuing a no reponse so quickly makes you think or wonder just a little bit.
Revlon was client of mine a few years back. I remember them being located at 625 Madison, which is between 58th and 59th.

Pretty much agree. Just put a TSA Agent badge on Officer Barbrady and it'll be about right...
Explosive adiposis..
some part of that multi-lingual ability probably comes from his nursing staff.
Much more commonly, the news media corner somebody on the gov't payroll somewhere, badgers them with "Is it terrorism, huh, huh??" and reports "not that I know of" as "Gov't denies terrorism!"
I'm sure there are some cases to the contrary, but every time I have tried to drill down to source documents, that's what I find.
My husband had a normal sense of smell but he could NOT smell gas. For several mornings before he went to work he used his desk in the basement to work on income tax. One morning, I opened the basement door and yelled at him to get out of there because I could smell gas. He insisted that I was imagining it.
But he finally got out. The man from the gas company told me that if he had lit one of the cigarettes sitting on his desk, he would have been dead, and the house destroyed.
I understand that almost all survivors of attempted suicides state that as soon as they commit the act they fully realize and regret what they have done.
Now Fox is saying that his wife got an email from him with "the plan" in it.
Dr. Bartha, white courtesy phone...
Heh.
there MUST be a better way to keep the assets from the ex . . .
Isn't it always????
