"If France wins tomorrow, then among the nations that won the world cup, England will be the only one who won it just ONCE!"
That ain't France. It's Africa!

You obviously are jealous of the most handsome of races with the largest sex organs.

Get some air, or renew your prescription. You're gone looney.

Interesting analogy between Napoleon and Zidane. However, Zidanne has been far more fruitful to France Than Napoleon.

Next up Hitler and...

Keep smiling.

Not where Germany wanted to be. They wanted to be in Sunday's game. Instead its Italy v France. Tomorrow, I give the odds to Italy but France might turn out to be the Rodney Dangerfield of the football world. They might finally get respect if they win.

Yes, football is my life! And my only regret is that after tomorrow, I won't be able to laugh at you on these threads.

'...he is losing it because of his money bet for the French team to win.'

I didn't expect you to grasp the complexities of my bet, as you are not one of the brighter bulbs in the FreeRepublic living room. It was actually a place bet on France. If they win, I get more.

However, the fact they reached the final, ensures me a decent payout. Unlike some of the fat Brazilian players, I am not greedy so will be happy with that, although it would be nice if the French defeated this ordinary Italian side.

By the way, how did Blobaldo do in the Coney Island hot dog challenge?

Are you fifteen years old? What a juvenile comment!

Good to see there are someone following the game :-)

I am happy to see the Germans get the Bronze.

They have played well during the Cup, and have been great hosts.

The Portguese with their petty antics deserve nothing.

Cheers.

Yep, good to see the hosts win something, but if Portugal gets nothing, then neither do I, cause I picked them to win it all.

How the hell can someone mix up Oliver Bierhoff and Michael Schumacher (highest paid sportsman in the world!) as the ESPN commentators just did?

If Klinsmann gets another 3rd place finish in 2010 that would be great. Especially since he would be coaching the USA!!! :)

Glad the Germans played Kahn in goal today.

hehe.

You should aim to win the whole shebang!

Unfortunately for team USA, Norway will probably be too strong and take it all :-)

Cheers.

He has been a great goalie and footballer.

The Cup didn't turn out the way he probably had imagined, so I think it is great that he can go out on a high note like this.
