Weekend Talk Show *Preview* for 7/8 and 7/9/06 (not the live thread)
The main message is the Sunday Shows and message 1 will be the Saturday Shows, then I'll post the ping list. I've changed the format as a test this week and put the links to articles and background on the guests in with their listing in the shows. It struck me that it might have been getting less helpful to have to jump back and forth. Let me know which format works better.

The idea is to give folks a chance to muster their resources for that thread. I would particularly ask that anyone with specific knowledge or resources about the topics / guests announced for these shows post them here so that the rest of us can go into the shows with a heads up on what to look for.

I forgot to congratulate you on your blog at Townhall.com. My, my, we lose Tony Snow, and gain....YOU!
Thankyou kindly, but.... you do realize it's free and anyone can sign up? It's not like it was an invitation only thing or that I'm getting paid.
Now, if they happen to like my stuff and decide to pay me, I wouldn't turn them down, but that's not likely to happen anytime soon. <g>

There you go, selling yourself short again...LOL
BTW...The Beltway Boys was the WORST it has ever been. I almost turned the channel after the very first few sentences..
Both Mort AND Fred blasted Bush for his "diplomatic" stance on North Korea....
AND...they both treated his Chicago trip and press conference as a joke...Mort even said Bush was "too goofy".
I did NOT hear one positive thing about Bush, except they said he was in the UP catagory...which doesn't make sense, since every thing he did, they complained about.
Newswatch...The did NOT mention the Shuttle take-off...Biden's remark...the Lieberman debate..Bush's birthday, INDEPENDENCE DAY....
What a worthless show.

Why am I getting the feeling that things are just spinning out of control? Because there is a power struggle going on in Congress
Congress wants to call all the shots and not the President .. which is why they never officially declared war
These morons in congress are playing political games with our lives

"Because there is a power struggle going on in Congress"
"Congress wants to call all the shots and not the President... "
I've been waiting for this ... Senator Arlen Specter, speaking with U.S. Supreme Court Judge Samuel Alito while 'interviewing' him mentioned that Congress needed more power. Then as the hearings were over Specter went over to shake Alito's hand and again mentioned to him the need to talk with him regarding those 'powers'.
