Monday Marks the Tenth Anniversary of the Crash of TWA Flight 800

Family and friends will gather for special memorial services at Smith Point Park on Fire Island.

Flight 800 exploded minutes after taking off from JFK en route to Paris on July 17th, 1996; all 230 people on board were killed.

I heard the other night that the Clinton administration almost immediately drew up plans to retaliate against Iran, because they were convinced it was an attack by them. I think it might have been a preview of the CNN Presents show on the explosion this weekend. I recorded it, will have to watch.
