I heard the other night that the Clinton administration almost immediately drew up plans to retaliate against Iran, because they were convinced it was an attack by them. I think it might have been a preview of the CNN Presents show on the explosion this weekend. I recorded it, will have to watch.

There have been some fascinating shows on regular TV lately. The other night I watched a public TV show about the 18 gang in South America. It was riveting - if only more educational shows (without political leanings) could be typical instead of occasional.

There are so many countries and so many cultures we could stand to learn about. The Travel Channel has lost it's niche since it became the Las Vegas / poker channel / tourism promotion company instead of what it could be.
