Threat Matrix seems to be slipping a bit. I had expected more commentary here this week. Been hanging out at TB instead. That'll get your heartrate going if you're not careful.
I'm woefully ignorant of the intricate political and military implications of what has been happening all week, but I must say that the criticism of Bush for what is happening is absurd!
The Syrian ambassador said something last night about it being the US responsibility to reign in Israel. Hogwash! It's Lebanon's (& Iran's)responsibility to reign in Hizbollah.
I'm not into making predictions but I find what's going on in the ME more unsettling than normal, probably because of the NK missile test (complete with a delegation of observers from Iran). What is everyone else thinking?

Threat Matrix seems to be slipping a bit.
Hopefully the once monthly format will help that a bit. ;-)
I've been busy the past few days at work, obviously.. It is very unsettling though. I think this next few days makes or breaks it. I was really hoping to see things wind down today, but that was sadly not the case.
Israel doesn't usually sit around and wait once they get going. If the brazen and rather sophisticated attacks of Hizballah continue, it won't be long till others in the region are hiding in bomb shelters.
I personally wonder how much other groups like al Qaida might be influencing or planning to influence things.

Thanks for your feedback.
If it's "slipping a bit" let's hear from you more.
That should make it better.

This week's developments are mind-boggling, to say the least.
