Must be a holiday coming up...
Regular unleaded:$3.039 to $3.209!
Oh, and you have FReepmail.
And WOW!
Great cool morning here in Austin. 64 this AM and headed for the low 90s.
Morning, AH!
Back at you tomkow6. Just a few posts before work today.
Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Lauren, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
Well, let's see.....assuming this rain ever stops......I like doing the following
Pay a visit to the Canteen.
Having a bbq. Then, watching the fireworks
But if the rain keeps up, I just might be doing something like this
Speaking of rain......do yo know that we are expecting more rain today and tomorrow? Does anyone know how to build an ark? LOL....Right now we've got a little bit of a break in the rain. I'm hoping this will give the water time to run off before we get the next deluge.
Did you notice I'm late, again? Tsk...tsk....tsk....Where does the time go?
Alrighty! I think it's time for another exciting installment of Fun and Useless Facts
According to Newton's Law of Motion, when a car going 60 miles per hour in one direction gets hit by a mosquito going one mile per hour in the opposite direction, the car will slow down one-millionth of a mile per hour.
Now, tell the truth. Don't you think that is the most exciting thing you've ever heard? I'm sure you'll remember this every time a bug hits your windshield.....hehe....
To all newbies and lurkers
Time to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
Now remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM

Good morning, Arrowhead.
Cool 64....Yipeee.....
With all the rain we're having out here, it has kept the temps down, which is good. However, the humidity and dampness is starting to soak my spirit! I need sunshine! LOL.
Right now, it is NOT raining. Praise the Lord!
good morning, acad
bwahahahahahahaaaaaaa......that's a good one
good morning, tom
Good morning and (((HUGS))) EG. Whatz happening?
Dang! It's starting to cloud up again! The rain had stopped and the parking lot almost dried up some.....and now.......
Wonder if we can talk to Karl Rove to reset his weather machine to send some heavy rain to central Texas? We get just enough to keep everything green, but our poor lake is almost 25 feet low.
We could sure use some of that rain you're getting. We're in a fire danger situation today. Right now it's confortable in the 50's.
Morning Beachy! Enjoying all this rain we're having? lol It has been crazy out here in Centreville. Our office was closed yesterday due to a power outage from over the weekend! I can't wait for the sun to start shining for days at a time again.
Hey, Arrow! Good to see you! Are you enjoying the wonderful cool mornings? It's still in the 60's here, too. I just love it. Hope it stays that way...and adds some rain to the mix. We are even dryer than you are.
Bubba went to a psychiatrist. “Doc,” he said, “I've got trouble. Every time I get into bed, I think there's somebody under it. I'm going crazy!”
“Just put yourself in my hands for 1 year," said the shrink.
“Come talk to me 3 times a week and we should be able to get rid of those fears.”
“How much do you charge?”
“$80 per visit,” replied the doctor.
“I'll sleep on it,” said Bubba.
Six months later the doctor met Bubba on the street. “Why didn't you ever come to see about those fears you were having?” asked the psychiatrist.
“Well 80 bucks a visit 3 times a week for a year is an awful lot of money… a bartender cured me for $10. I was so happy to have saved all that money I went and bought me a new pickup!”
“Is that so... And how did a bartender cure you?”
“He told me to cut the legs off the bed - ain't nobody under there now!”
Mornin' beachy! Get out yer waterwings! And turn any of the fans ya have our direction and blow the rain toward Texas. I'd love for it to rain for a week....slooooow rain.
As much as we need it....everyone would be complaining. Sheesh!
