Here's the latest from WPTV.

More trouble tonight for conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh...

US customs agents detained him returning to Palm Beach International Airport.

The customs office tells us it's agents stopped Limbaugh as he was returning from the Dominican Republic on a private plane.

Agents say they found a prescription that was not in Limbaugh's name.

Agents tell us they called the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and detectives questioned Limbaugh.

He said the prescription was his, but in another name for privacy reasons.

The sheriff's office tells us Limbaugh was extremely cooperative. He was released without being charged and the evidence will be turned over to the State Attorney's office.

Limbaugh signed a plea deal earlier this year after being charged with doctor shopping. He did not admit guilt in the plea deal.. but agreed to drug testing, treatment for addiction to pain killers, and gave up his right to own a gun.

It is not clear if today's incident will affect that plea deal.

I'm no expert, but is it legally possible to get a prescription made out to someone fictitious even if its for you? Sounds awfully strange to me.

You just got to love the way supposed "Conservatives" assume because an accusation is made the person must be guilty. Funny how these same people never apply that standard to Democrats and other Leftist. Why is that?

WOw. This looks like a first class smear attempt. There was no story here from the beginning. Big deal...the guy uses Viagra and wants to keep it quite so he has the prescription issued in a phoney name for the sake of privacy. But no...there's no such thing as privacy in this country when you're as hated by the left as Rush is. This is a disgrace.

Ah - he has an alias! Well. That just brings on more questions. Good work on finding that, Shermy

That seems reasonable to me. This is a continuation of a witch hunt.

Does anyone here know what kinds of searches take place on private planes when they go through customs? Did they scan his bag, and knowing it was Rush Limbaugh, take out the pills and examine them? I recently had a bag scanned that was full of injectible meds and no one said a thing.

Customs and security are for the country's safety. They are not supposed to go after "not guilty doctor-shoppers." Rush's Viagra was not hurting anyone (other than one lucky limping woman).

I can understand that since you KNOW the MSM is combing through prescriptions, even though that's not legal, trying to GET him on something, anything!!

Ok everybody. Relax. Drudge has an up date that says...

UPDATE: Rush Limbaugh 'had no illegal drugs or prescription drug obtained illegally in his possession,' source says, contrary to a claim by CBS-TV in Miami... MORE...

So I guess I better get the puns in quick.

This was a rather "tense" situation. Looks like the tv station will get "spanked" for the bad report.

Well...I off to go fishing.....remember....keep a tight line and your tip up....

Was that over the top....I can never tell....
