Limbaugh Detained At Airport Image

(CBS4 News) WEST PALM BEACH Sources have confirmed to CBS4 News that conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh has been detained at Palm Beach International Airport for the possible possession of illegal prescription drugs Monday evening.
Limbaugh was returning on a flight from the Dominican Republic when officials found the drugs, among them Viagra.
Limbaugh entered a plea deal back in April in a previous case where his charge of fraud to conceal information to obtain prescriptions was dropped under the condition he continue undergoing treatment for addiction.
Limbaugh had admitted to being addicted to pain killers on his radio program and had entered a rehabilitation program prior to that arrest.
Hmm...I wonder if Roy Black has made a "getting to know you" call to that Miami station yet....LOL

They had a lot of detail. For example, they knew it was over prescription drugs. The civilian employee would have had to be very closeby.
If all the TV station had was that "Rush Limbaugh was detained at airport. More at 11." I would be more inclined to follow your line of thinking.

No. The initial report (TV link) says the pills were found in his bag. The cops would have to consider they were not his and have to go on "constructive" possession, except that Rush already told them they were his.
Hold on a second. If Rush is drug-tested, it is for anything he is NOT prescribed. There is no reason Rush can't pop an aspirin, a prescribed pain med, or a li'l blue pill if he is prescribed it.

I was never asked for I.D. and I was not a customer of the pharmacy. There are laws/rules and then there is the way it actually works in the real world.

In 'the real world' after April 21, 2005 the pharmacy owner is stupid if they don't ask for identification.
If the intitial report were true would Rush have been arrested tonight or released.
