Thats even an understatment. The biggest house in Beverly Hills and has 123 rooms.

The 56,550-square-foot house on 6 acres of land in Bel Air took almost five years to build and includes a bowling alley, a full-size ice rink, a doll museum, screening room, four bars, a rose garden on top of the garage, a French-style "wine and cheese room" and two rooms just for wrapping gifts.

Untill one of them kicks the bucket. Then it's 'He was one of the good ones, rich too!'

It's a simple matter of paying proper respect to a fellow human being. Even if Spelling didn't always produce high art, he was still a good man who did well.

Actually, Aaron Spelling was instrumental in:

1. Getting ABC to become a major successful network. Shows like The Rookies and Starsky & Hutch in 1975 and Charlie's Angels, The Love Boat and Fantasy Island in the late 1970's made people watch ABC in huge numbers.

2. Getting the Fox TV network off the ground. Both Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place were the early successes for the network in the early 1990's.

3. Finally getting William Shatner out of the Captain Kirk typecasting with ABC's T.J. Hooker in 1982.

I'm sorry to hear this news. Torri was recently married. I don't care if he was rich!!! That's what makes our country great. He seemed loyal to me..always employing Shanen Doherty..he made a lot of stars and they should be greatful. I for one, enjoyed all his productions. Losing a dad, rich or poor, is still losing your Dad and that sucks. God Bless you Aaron Spelling.

Producer Aaron Spelling's 6-acre mansion, is in Bel Air. It is thought to be the largest house in California. With 123 rooms, a bowling alley, swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis court, screening room and four 2-car garages it is 31 times the size of the average American home, or roughly the size of a football field.

“More than any of their other hate speech, the left’s attacks on women for being ugly tell you everything. There is nothing so irredeemably cruel as an attack on a woman for her looks.” Ann Coulter"

Quite a few Freepers apparently don't agree with Ann on this. Looks are judged and attacked all the time.

What? How did that come up in conversation?

And a hot daughter.

Tori and I chatted and walked across Mulholland to Bel-Air Pres 3 or 4 Easters ago. I thought the Spellings were Jewish too, but he went to SMU. Go figure.

The most inane programming I have ever viewed. I quit watching Fantasy Island after a storyline of a guest on the island being given a drug to drink ... The great Catholic, who reportedly never cheated on his wife (Loretta Young's sister), I had much admired Ricardo Montalban in my youth.

He lived a good long life, hope he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour.

My housemate is an actor and thinks he did know the Lord.
