There is no evidence put forth in support of evolution that fails to support creation better. Keep the athiestic philosophy out of the classroom, and off of the federal dole.
But you seem to have a BIG problem with people having faith. I wonder why that is?
Sorry. I backslid a little. I didn't call you a creo but it could be interpreted to imply that. Perhaps I got caught up in the moment where in the previous post (see below) you made a statement that inferred something on me for which you had no basis. He who hath no sin ... well, I think you get the idea. Do unto others ... etc.
But you seem to have a BIG problem with people having faith. I wonder why that is?
No proof of human evolution? We should all be the same then, right? Why aren't we? Genetic transformation (evolution)is taking place with each generation. The human race is changing before our very eyes, and you can't change our reality by not acknowledging the facts before you.
What Christian hypocrites miss is the fact that good works are the fruits of faith. Those that are truely reborn have a desire in their hearts to do good works, and good works are the embodiment of faith. Works are faith; there is no divide.
It apears you are wrong.
Do you NOT know what God has said in His scriptures?
NIV Job 31:29-35
29. "If I have rejoiced at my enemy's misfortune or gloated over the trouble that came to him--
30. I have not allowed my mouth to sin by invoking a curse against his life--
31. if the men of my household have never said, `Who has not had his fill of Job's meat?'--
32. but no stranger had to spend the night in the street, for my door was always open to the traveler--
33. if I have concealed my sin as men do, by hiding my guilt in my heart
34. because I so feared the crowd and so dreaded the contempt of the clans that I kept silent and would not go outside
35. ("Oh, that I had someone to hear me! I sign now my defense--let the Almighty answer me; let my accuser put his indictment in writing.
NIV Proverbs 17:5
He who mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker; whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished.
NIV Proverbs 24:17-18
17. Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your heart rejoice,
18. or the LORD will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from him.
NIV Obadiah 1:12
You should not look down on your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast so much in the day of their trouble.
So true....
Ah, your tricky tagline...my belief is that there are way too many folks out there, who claim, that others are going to Hell, all the while, ignoring their own state in relation to God...its all too easy to claim others are going to Hell, when they disagree with your personal beliefs...
The one screaming about others going to Hell(and having a fine old time doing it, laughing all the while), may find themselves in a sticky situation when the time comes..we may all find ourselves in a sticky situation when the time comes...its Gods choice, not mine, not yours, not anyone elses...people ought to worry about their own salvation...but too often, they dont, because they are way too busy nosing around, pointing out others sins...
Its better to worry about ones own soul, instead of being on God patrol all the time, thinking that they actually know who will go where...
Must be scary, looking in the maternity room window, and not knowing what you are going to get!
Thank you for pointing out the Scriptures, where gloating over someone elses misfortunes is talked about...I think of all the verses you have presented, those are among the most valuable for this thread...I am going to keep those for further use...thanks again...
A bible thumper and a comedian.
Like I said... no one knows what it really was.
Is a hypercane just a high-speed hurricane? I don't really see how that relates to the canopy theory.
OK, now I'm confused about what you're trying to say. Are you doing that on purpose? ;)

Actually, I worry more about the souls of others, because (unless of course I'm wrong, and by the time I know it, it will be too late to fix it!) I know the state of my own soul. I can only hope for others. Of course, I don't think it's helpful to tell anyone you think they're going to Hell. There's nothing I can do to save anyone, so my commission is to share the Gospel, pray for others, and be a witness with my life (which I sorely fall down on every single day).

Um, I would like to say that Creationism is not at all unscientific. Many advances in science can be credited to Christians, simply because they believed that the common rules/laws of nature would reflect God's designs... in other words, they expected science to be fully provable and practical. For example, early genetics (as a formal study, applied genetics, ie husbandry, was around a long time before that) was done by a monk by the name of Gregor Mendel on peas (and bees, IIRC). Also, many of our own prestigious schools started out as seminaries.
I don't know what bilge you've been fed, but Religion and Science are not, by nature, mutually exclusive schools of thought.
But no advances in Creationism (ID) can be credited to scientists.
