New positions opening up every day.
Hey, having a force "over the horizon" is surely the best way to fight terrorists on the other side of the horizon right?

They're being wiped out? Obviously on the endangered feces list.
Now, I wonder why the militant socialist media would miss this story. It doesn't fit the agenda, I guess. By soem lights in the MSM, that means it's not true. Right, Dan?
Tell the Liberals ya can't win if ya don't play...

I'm so proud of--and grateful too--our military warriors. Heroes, every one of them!
The only way the Dims can win is if we cheat the way they accused Bush of cheating!
No one will vote for the Dims, except a few radical wing nuts.
This major news cannot be surpressed for long.
They appear to have not learned much from Comintern. What kind of revolutionaries did they expect to be? Example of what to not do?
"This was to be done by starting rumors of American atrocities, and feeding the media plausible supporting material. Al Qaeda's attitude was that if they could not win in reality, they could at least win imaginary battles via the media."
Aren't most battles in the MSM imaginary?
Good article and great news!
"....Other documents stressed the need to manipulate Moslem and Western media. This was to be done by starting rumors of American atrocities, and feeding the media plausible supporting material...."
....and some of our boys are sitting in prison in leg-irons.
The US media is scum.
Bravo Sierra. I heard the interview with the Iraqi PM. There will be no amnesty for those who killed Coalition forces. "BAGHDAD, June 15 -- Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's office on Thursday accepted the resignation of an aide who had told a reporter that Maliki was considering a limited amnesty that would likely include guerrillas who had attacked U.S. troops, the aide said."
I must take exception to this statement:
"This would weaken the United States, and put the hurt on Iran, an arch-enemy of al Qaeda."
That is just not true. The Iranians and the Zarqawi wing of AQ may not have liked eachother, but Iranian support for AQ has been documented for years. It was first discussed in "Breakdown" by Bill Gertz. Then the September 11th Commission Report detailed Iranian ties to and support for Al Qaeda. Two recent books by Richard Miniter and Curt Weldon also provide indications of Iranian cooperation with Al Qaeda.
After all, we can't have chrissy matthews head exploding on national TV, even it is only for about 100 viewers.
I'm confident we'll find out that the alleged action in Haditha is a LIE. And the good thing is that it will be the end of that whining old fool Murtha.
bump
"The latest government proposal is to give amnesty to most of the Sunni Arabs who have just killed foreigners (mainly Americans)."
I don't think at this rate there will be many in this category. We seem to be taking out the trash by the dumpster load. If we keep up the number of raids as we develop even more leads, there won't be any killers left negotiating their amnesty deals.
According to an op-ed in TODAY'S NY Slimes,
"Violence on the whole is as bad as ever. Sectarian strife is worse than ever. The economy has slowly come back to prewar levels for the most part, but is now treading water. As a result, optimism has waned. According to an International Republican Institute poll conducted in late March, more than 75 percent of Iraqis consider the security environment to be poor and the economy poor or mediocre."

So the MSM just keep plugging away.
I want to know why intellegence allows this news to be "outed" before they can get the most good out of it.
I mean, they let them know its time to bug out.
