That was my fault, I mentioned stuff about the estate tax and how non-citizens don't get the deductions Americans get.

As an example, if you have a non citizen spouse and he dies before the wife, then he dies without this years 2 million dollar deduction and he gets taxed heavily after some low number like 25k.

That was regarding the estate tax FO, I brought that up, we were not attempting to hijack the thread to immigration at all.

I didn't know that. I guess you mean non-resident citizens or even permanent residents? I thought permanent resident get the same benefits as citizens, except they can't vote.
