Be sure to catch the replay of Glenn Beck tonight in Headline News....in the first 20 mins he is hysterical about the Zarqawi killing...he has a guy from his radio show go out on the streets of New York City and offer celebration bacon and a chalk outline bacon zarqawi cake for anyone who wants to celebrate the killing of the terrorist scumbag.

He also goes head to head with an Army father whose son is suing not to go to Iraq because he is against the war....good stuff...replays at Midnight EST on CNN Headline News.

I also saw this.

It was a great segment and my respect for glenn increased quite a bit. His show has been pretty good (I just started catching it the last couple of days).

Excellent segment!!! No excuses allowed. I liked the part when the dad was asked about why his son would need a defense fund if he was willing to take responsibility for his decision, as the father had stated earlier.

I heard him talking about doing this. I'm glad he did. If this Mavericks-Heat game ends by then, I'll watch it.

I liked the segment with Ron "'tater salad" White - a little escapist humor to cap off an enjoyable day.....

Beck gets a bit overboard on some things...but God was he on top of it tonight.

I can't figure it out: Beck claims to be a conservative (and sounds like one) but he is on CNN?!

I thought that was gonna be the TV battle of the night..but Coulter on Hannity and Colmes vs. the Democratic Spin Dunce was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more intense.

It's CNN's way of stealing ratings from Shep,Hannity, and O'Reilly with the midnight replay.

IMHO, I can't believe CNN is allowing him to say what he's saying, but as long as he is allowed editorial freedom, more power to him (it's Headline News, so not quite as bad as CNN proper, LOL.)

I'll tell you one thing, sure beats watching Shepherd Smith (I catch the 7 PM show.)

I simply can't stand to watch Shep any longer. He is so far out of the closet and scripted...oh the drama! Where's my tissue?!?

And Shep's make-up is over the top, LOL. We don't watch a lot of evening TV but have the 7 PM slot open, usually. We have been trying to tune into Beck. The show has been funny and refreshingly non PC. It's a very relaxing way to start the evening.

The mascara is just too much...and I agree...I do the same thing at 7...Glenn is a breath of fresh air.

I liked the way he conducted that interview -- didn't allow any wiggle room for the guy to weedle around his answers.

More 'conservative' talkshow hosts and news channel interviewers should use that technique.

Beck asked a straight question but the dad didn't wanr to give a straight answer. Beck is great!

On his radio show, Beck explained that Headline News has separate management and is, in effect, an intramural competitor of CNN even though having the same corporate ownership and management. Ain't competition wunnerful?
