II Timothy 1:3
I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience,
as my forefathers did, as without ceasing
I remember you in my prayers night and day.
We bless You at all times, Dear Lord. Let Your praise be continually in our mouths. We magnify You, Lord Jesus, and we exalt Your Name together. Thank You for this special weekend in which we remember the love and sacrifice of those who have gone before us.
As we honor those who have died for our freedoms, we ask You to give us a new sense of dedication to preserving all that has made our nation great. We pray that all of our fallen servicemen and women may know the comfort of Your presence in heaven. Guard each of our active troops, Father, that they may be strong in everything they face and take heart, knowing that You are with them.
Great God of wisdom, help President Bush in all that he encounters this day and during the coming week. Keep him from being deceived by what the world states as truth, but enable him to learn all truth from you. Speak within his soul, Father, and awaken the knowledge of Your purposes for him. Conform his will to Yours, and let his wisdom broaden with every day that he dwells in Your presence. Let the unbelieving world see how this man conducts his life, and let them seek that same humility and reverence toward You. Though he may have many troubles, Father, we are confident that You deliver him from them all. Let his countenance glow with the presence of Your Holy Spirit. Help him to seek You as his refuge always, taking everything to You in prayer. Keep him from discouragement, Father, understanding that in all things, Your timing is perfect.
Father, we have seen Your hand move in this nation in wonderful ways. May we continue to be blessed by Your presence and may our eyes never leave Your face. May those who do not know You be drawn to Your love and Your amazing grace. Father, we love You and we need You. Hear our prayers, Lord, though they are flawed. Please make them perfect, and let Your wonderful blessings continue to rain down upon us. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Wishing everyone a blessed Memorial Day. Thank you for your prayers.
A resounding AMEN to your prayer, Faith!
Thank you for praying on this special day, kayak. Have a wonderful holiday.
Lord, this day is a reminder that no one lives unto himself, but to others. We owe everything to what others have invested in us, often sacrificially, and we should be appreciative of it.
And nowhere is that more true than at the Cross, where the greatest Gift was given at the highest Cost.
May each of us walk in this ever-present reality, living our lives in such a way that their dignity and honor would bring glory unto You and unto those who went before us and gave so much.
And may knowledge of the Holy One cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. May those in the direst need receive the most grace, and may Your perfect will be worked out in our nation and in the world.
"Our nation mourns the loss of our men and women in uniform. We will honour them by completing the mission for which they gave their lives, by defeating the terrorists, by advancing the cause of liberty and by laying the foundation of peace for a generation of young Americans," Bush added. Psalms 45:1 To the Chief Musician. Set to "The Lillies." A Contemplation of the sons of Korah. A Song of Love. My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Psalms 45:2 You are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever.
Psalms 45:3 Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, With Your glory and Your majesty.

Psalms 45:5 Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King's enemies; The peoples fall under You.
Psalms 45:6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
Psalms 45:7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.
Psalms 45:8 All Your garments are scented with myrrh and aloes and cassia, Out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You glad.
Psalms 45:9 Kings' daughters are among Your honorable women; At Your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.

Psalms 45:16 Instead of Your fathers shall be Your sons, Whom You shall make princes in all the earth.
Psalms 45:17 I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; Therefore the people shall praise You forever and ever. (NKJV)
"Thou hatest wickedness." - Psalm 45:7
"Be ye angry, and sin not." There can hardly be goodness in a man if he be not angry at sin; he who loves truth must hate every false way. How our Lord Jesus hated it when the temptation came! Thrice it assailed him in different forms, but ever he met it with, "Get thee behind me, Satan." He hated it in others; none the less fervently because he showed his hate oftener in tears of pity than in words of rebuke; yet what language could be more stern, more Elijah-like, than the words, "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer." He hated wickedness, so much that he bled to wound it to the heart; he died that it might die; he was buried that he might bury it in his tomb; and he rose that he might for ever trample it beneath his feet. Christ is in the Gospel, and that Gospel is opposed to wickedness in every shape. Wickedness arrays itself in fair garments, and imitates the language of holiness; but the precepts of Jesus, like his famous scourge of small cords, chase it out of the temple, and will not tolerate it in the Church. So, too, in the heart where Jesus reigns, what war there is between Christ and Belial! And when our Redeemer shall come to be our Judge, those thundering words, "Depart, ye cursed" which are, indeed, but a prolongation of his life-teaching concerning sin, shall manifest his abhorrence of iniquity. As warm as is his love to sinners, so hot is his hatred of sin; as perfect as is his righteousness, so complete shall be the destruction of every form of wickedness. O thou glorious champion of right, and destroyer of wrong, for this cause hath God, even thy God, anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Very moving. Thank you.
Praying your Most Beautiful and Heartfelt Prayer with you, Sister Faith!
Heavenly Father, We thank you for our many blessings, for the bravery of our soldiers and military and for the strength of President Bush. Amen
Somewhere a trumpet sounds in the night
A soldier is standing there
Its calling him out to the Stars and the Stripes
Its calling him God knows where
He kisses the ones he loves goodbye
And leaves in the dead of night
For freedom hell heed the call, leave all he knows
And for freedom hell stand and fight
And somewhere a man and wife cant believe
Theyre waving their girl goodbye
For gone are the days of pigtails and curls
And cannily lullabies
If they had their way shed stay young forever
And never be far from home
But freedom has drawn her heart to dangers shoal
And for freedom theyll let her go
And somewhere a thunderous crash in the night
It echoes all through the hills
Though many escape its wrath and its rage
A soldier lies wounded still
Remembering the land he loves, he cries
I love you with all my might
For freedom said Im her son whatever comes
And for freedom Ill say goodbye
And somewhere beneath the stars and the sky
Our flag is still standing there
She bled and she brought one land under God
Her promise still leads us there
Shes carried the lives of those before us
Shes buried the bold and brave
For freedom she holds our hopes
And for freedom shell ever wave
For Freedom; Matt Moran
