Murtha disgusts me beyond belief. If the atrocities occurred they will be investigated and the guilty punished.

I'm glad Drudge is going after Murtha. His appearance on George Stephs ABC show was disgusting. He has no business interferring with the military's investigation, and that's what he's doing. And doing it for self-promotion!
If a massacre took place, if marines killed civilians in cold blood as Murtha charges, the military will try and punish the guilty. Unless of course, Murtha's grandstanding has already tainted the process.
Refresh my memory..what did Murtha do last time (he was in the news)?

I don't know about you guys, but I thought Pope Benedict's question was an interesting one. And I was impressed that a Pope (of all people) would ask it, quite frankly.
Short story. This guy proclaims to be an Army Ranger that has killed many innocent peoples and desecrated mosques and such.
He has heralded by the lefties.
And then he was exposed. He was in the Army for a couple of months. He was not a Ranger nor Airborne, in fact, he did not complete basic training.
His claims were trumpeted by the anti-military leftists until his record was exposed.
I am so angry with this. The leftists are loving it and no doubt enjoying the effect on the morale of the troops. Not to excuse it, but incidents happen in the fog of war, especially one where the enemy combatants are amongst civilians.

I didn't know there was already a trial.
The 1st Marines at Camp Pendleton have had 3 to 4 tours in Iraq.
If in fact a couple are guilty would make it amazing considering this is not your standard war.
I have a couple of 2nd cousins in the 1st Marines and done their tours in Iraq. One is a Dr. and part of the first to go into Bagdad at the start of the war.
My dad was with the 1st Marines in the Korean War.
Frozen Chosin, Inchon Landing, etc.
