GAY EX-GOV'S EXPLOITS: BETTER LEFT UNSAID (cashing-in---book proselytizes gay lifestyle)
NY POST ^ | 5/27/06 | EDITORIALS

Posted on 05/27/2006 5:34:44 AM PDT by Liz

THE ISSUE: Former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey's autobiography.

***** Has anyone considered the impact of McGreevey's tell-all tome? He has had two children with some poor woman he lied to and cheated on, and when they grow up they will read all about dear daddy's joyful coming out. He's a lying cheat who is capitalizing on his bad behavior. My sympathy goes out to his wife and kids. Cosmopolis, Wash.

***** I think it is selfish of McGreevey to write explicitly about his life when he has young children who will read the book or hear friends talk about it. It is hard enough for children to endure the decisions of a parent who is in the public's eye, but to earn $500,000 to discuss his trysts seems a small price for his kids. I think McGreevey should be who he is but keep his highway hookups to himself. Highland Mills

***** You can't say that, because McGreevey is gay and involved in a sex scandal, he is being treated any differently than a straight man would be. The former governor did something wrong, admitted to it and resigned, case closed. I think his tome will help others who are coming to terms with their sexuality. That, at least, is a small step toward redemption. Manhattan

Didn't he give Cipel the job of heading the Homeland Security office in NJ?

McGreevey named Cipel as his HomeLand advisor.

But the frightening part is that McSeedy DEMANDED Cipel be briefed by the US military and L/E on ways the tri-state area was protecting its vulnerable post-9/11 areas---like bridges and tunnels.

Moreover, Cipel even turned up at a national HomeLandSec meeting in DC at which GWB spoke---even though Cipel was not listed as an official attendee.

This guy Cipel creeped around the tri-state area after 9/11, sneaking around, getting national security info he was not supposed to have----God knows what the creep did with all the info he got ahold of.

Snicker---now they'll have to kill me for spilling the beans on Cipel. Oops, I see a black helicopter landing on my lawn. LOL.

Not to worry fellow posters, I contacted the FBI, the CIA, Interpol, Scotland Yard, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Mossad, and the US DOJ........and I named names.

You have to wonder what really happened when McGreevey broke his leg (while alone) in the sand dunes of the Jersey shore a few years ago. I think it was in Avalon or Wildwood. He had a cell phone with him to call for help. I've always wondered about that incident.

"Yes, but this is the defining characteristic of gay culture. They can't just BE gay. They've got to talk about it, they've got to show us."

Exactly. The gay community uses their "sexuality" to define their entire human existence. Like the race card it enables them to play the victim and deny personal responsibility. Yes, discrimination and racism exist, but it has grown into a whole cottage industry that enables people to manipulate, blame, and in alot of cases, (like Greevey), PROFIT.

If a man serially cheats on his wife with anonymous women he is branded a cad and shunned by the community. If a man does the exact same thing with men he's a BRAVE GAY MAN. Welcome to the New World.

Everything "gay" is good again? Adultery, underage sex, drug abuse, HIV/AIDS, homosexual child molestation, homosexual child grooming, homosexual child indoctrination... -and the list goes on...

Take any societal ill, add homosexual sex -Et Voila! ---it is instantly transformed from condemned behavior to cutting edge noteworthy behavior, supported by leftists and soon to be studied and researched at a university near you...

Homosexual sex -for the leftists IT is to behavior what MSG is to cooking...

McSeedy's first and foremost a calculated political animal----he knows the book helps him financially and politically, and is advancing the gay lifestyle, making it more "normal" and palatable to a non-critical thinking public.

LOL, true enough, except if your name is Clinton. Maybe it has something to do with being an elected government official?:)

A suggested title for McGreevy's pathetic tome:

I Got Turned & Piked On The New Jersey Turnpike: Adventures of a Gay Governor

I seem to recall hearing or reading some comments regarding the broken-leg-on-the-beach incident. Like it could have been an assignation gone wrong. Maybe he propositioned the wrong person and got a whuppin.

My friend, a former Elizabeth cop, told me that just after the NY Post article about the roadside adventures of Governor McGreevey, he was talking to one of his buddies on the Elizabeth police force. The guy said that back in 1997 when McGreevey was running the first time against Governor Christie Whitman, the Elizabeth police caught him in a compromising position with some guy in a car that had been pulled over onto the shoulder on Front Street, right near the Goethels Bridge (Elizabeth to Staten Island, NY).

Then Mayor (and Senator)McGreevey apparently told them that he and his passenger were driving on the Turnpike and got tired, so they pulled over to take a rest . . . on Front Street in Elizabeth!

Naturally, it never came out . . . that is, the story never came out!

I got to thinking about that. Why wouldn't they want to leak the story to at least embarrass him enough to get him to "back out" of the race? (No pun intended.) The more I think about it, the more I think it is because normal people would not do something that would so intentionally and primarily mortify and hurt his family . . . his parents, his wife and, over time, his children. If it was just him, they might have.

McGreevey, however, didn't give that a moment's thought . . . once it became clear he was going to be exposed. He publicly mortified everyone associated with him, and most of all, in a few years, his children will be subject to ridicule. And the best proof of that, is that this book, with all the sordid details, could have been written with no other motivation than for him to cash in.

Play the victim, and purposefully subject the very people you should care the most about, to an extreme and ongoing embarassment. When you think about it, that is a rather clear-cut form of child abuse on his part. People have been charged with intentional infliction of mental distress for far less hurtful actions.

The bureaucrats who run the child abuse section of the Division of Youth & Family services, however, would not dare give it a second thought. They're too busy chasing down some exasperated parent who smacked their kid on the rump in the super market because he defied them and was opening a package of cookies sitting on the shelf.
