GAY EX-GOV'S EXPLOITS: BETTER LEFT UNSAID (cashing-in---book proselytizes gay lifestyle)
NY POST ^ | 5/27/06 | EDITORIALS

Posted on 05/27/2006 5:34:44 AM PDT by Liz

THE ISSUE: Former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey's autobiography.

***** Has anyone considered the impact of McGreevey's tell-all tome? He has had two children with some poor woman he lied to and cheated on, and when they grow up they will read all about dear daddy's joyful coming out. He's a lying cheat who is capitalizing on his bad behavior. My sympathy goes out to his wife and kids. Cosmopolis, Wash.

***** I think it is selfish of McGreevey to write explicitly about his life when he has young children who will read the book or hear friends talk about it. It is hard enough for children to endure the decisions of a parent who is in the public's eye, but to earn $500,000 to discuss his trysts seems a small price for his kids. I think McGreevey should be who he is but keep his highway hookups to himself. Highland Mills

***** You can't say that, because McGreevey is gay and involved in a sex scandal, he is being treated any differently than a straight man would be. The former governor did something wrong, admitted to it and resigned, case closed. I think his tome will help others who are coming to terms with their sexuality. That, at least, is a small step toward redemption. Manhattan

Who's kidding who? McGay's heavily promoted "confession" is calculated agit-prop---a way to proselytize the gay lifestyle, to make it appear "normal" and "acceptable."

Watch McGay embark on an endless worldwide tour forver talking about his "struggle" with being gay-----transforming himself into a victim in order to cash-in.

The truth is McGay committed numerous crimes against the state---crimes that were going to be revealed when he decided to quit the governorship, calculatedly outing himself as a a gay American, hiding behind his sexuality in order to escape legal penalties for himself and his lover, Golan Cipel. After a failed attempt to extort New Jersey taxpayers claiming McGreevey sexually harassed him, Cipel absconded to Israel, out of reach of the law.

He had one child with his first wife who he apparently paid-off t disappear and go live in another country.

Two weeks after then-Mayor McGreevey proposed marriage to his second wife Dina, McGay was In Israel on a politicans' obeisance tour locking eyes with Golan Cipel. He brought Cipel to NJ and set him up in an apartment closeby for late night assignations.

At the same time he was cavorting with Cipel, he got Dina
wed and pregnant, just in time for his gubernatorial campaign----made for great photo-ops.

Dina and his child were tossed out when McGay decided being an uncloseted gay was more advantageous-----and more profitable.

Oh, it gets even better. This is his second marriage - yes, to a woman. He has a child from each marriage. He was divorced from the first wife and I think is in the middle of divorce proceedings with the second wife. So, he not only didn't mess up one family, but two. Of course, he now comes out smelling like a rose with all this victim hooey but that's ok because he's making $$$ --- at the expense of all the people's lives he's destroyed.

Didn't he give Cipel the job of heading the Homeland Security office in NJ?

I keep thinking of Sea Bass from the Dumb and Dumber movie.

He's been married twice. First marriage I think had one kid and even when he ran for guv, it was remarked upon that even though they were divorced, why was she nowhere to be found and completely mum? Right before he ran for guv he married a hospital PR administrator and they immediately had a baby. Gotta have the perfect family if you want to run for higher office, right? It's beyond me how two women were fooled by this amoral degenerate. But then so were many NJ voters - although I believed he was corrupt and gay from the get-go.

"better left unsaid..."

Yes, but this is the defining characteristic of gay culture. They can't just BE gay. They've got to talk about it, they've got to show us.

Heh, the funny thing about your comment is that it's undoubtedly true. I live in Hollywood and behind my apartment live a clutch of gay men and, my God, if they're not always talking about being gay to anyone within earshot (like they'll just say to the gardener "...I'm just a gay man trying to get by in the big city" from outta nowhere during routine small talk...absolutely strange.)

I think you have nailed it. This guy is a psycopath. Reminds me of another politician who changed the subject rather than address the crimes.

Trolling rest stops for anal sexual incounters with strange men is just nasty.

Being proud of it is just perverted.

It makes tortured sense when you consider that one of the theories about gayness is that its practicioners are in an arrested state of development---that they've never advanced past the juvenile stage.

Here ya go....

McGreevey's tell-all is another Pay-Me-I'm-a-Victim vehicle. McSeedy actually thinks people will believe he's a "victim" after all his depraved and illegal machinations in elective office. The list of state and federal crimes would fill an encyclopedia of political crime waves.

It was all downhill from here when Jimbo and Golan met when then-Mayor Jimmy went on a politicans' obeisance tour to Israel to scrounge for votes and campaign ocntributions. Even better than the tour, Jimbo brought Golan home as a vote-buying souvenir:

This pic of McGreevey meeting Golan Cipel in Israel occured just two weeks after McG proposed marriage to his now-ex Dina Matos.

Days after McGreevey called his I-am-A- Gay-American-Pay-Me press conference, his top moneyman, who played matchmaker with Jimmy and Cipel, Charles Kushner, pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations and blackmail charges involving sending his sister a videotape Kushner made of her husband and a prostitute ( a hooker Kushner hired to do the deeed).

Law enforcement sources told the media that the FBI was investigating Cipel's blackmail efforts. Attorneys for Cipel were alleged to have demanded millions of dollars from McGreevey in exchange for Cipel not filing a sexual harassment lawsuit.

That is to say, they were extorting taxpayer dollars.

Remember the graffiti by Sea Bass in the truck stop restroom? His character was butch, but he just wanted to cuddle in the men's room.

I have a very strong feeling that this book is Truckstop's opening salvo for a return to politics. It's a sickening thought, but I'd put money on it. He is that depraved and people are that stupid. Sad but true.
