RUSH: Now, folks, as I say, I've got all this figured out, and when I told you this wasn't about immigration, I was right; and when I told you that what this is really all about is the Democrats wanting and needing some new victims, I was right; and when I said this was all about politicians, particularly Democrats wanting new voters, I was right. But I was not a hundred percent right. I was close. To sum this up -- very simply -- what this bill is, this is not an immigration bill. What is being done here is being done under the guise of immigration reform. What this is, is a huge attempt by certain politicians, mostly moderate and liberal Democrats and moderate Republicans, to expand the federal government, to increase the numbers of people in poverty in this country by importing them via this immigration bill, which will set up the need to expand the "social safety" net in this country, which will then empower those who believe in big government.
It is also designed to provide a free flow of cheap labor for businesses that want to access it, and with the few limits on legal immigration that this bill imposes, we're no longer talking just about Mexicans. We now can import workers from all over the world who want to come in for the purposes of achieving and accessing the American dream, and believe me, if certain American businesses want to get labor cheaper than what they have to pay Mexican immigrants, they want to get them from Ethiopia, they want to get them from Sudan, here's an opportunity to do it. It really is no more complicated than that. I mean, you cannot read this bill and conclude anything else. This bill is senseless.

Rush is right, it is all about expansion of the social welfare state. Things like borders get in the way. This is globalism, and it is about the NWO.
We see why Bush needed Specter and campaigned so hard for him.
As is Fred Barnes and William Kristol... neocons all.
You are right...It also parrots exactly the policy position laid out by the Council on Foreign Relations, the Canadian Council on Chief Executives, and Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales report entitled "Building a North American Community" dated 2005. See it referenced with a link at http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=14965.
It details the plan to use several methods to create the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP).
I don't ever remember voting to get rid of my country's sovereignty, but it will be done through treaties all confirmed by the Senate, and the Supreme Court will never over turn a treaty because it infringes on my individual constitutional rights.
They have made treaties for manufcturing. Now theyy are working to "equalize" the labot markets with Mexico and Canada. It is all a policy established in the 2005 CFR report.
I know, Rush has been pretty reticent to lay much of this on Bush, and I can empathize. I had to go through a few months of denial, having been a long-time supporter of GW, going back to his governorship. I kept thinking SURELY our President is just preoccupied with the WOT, and didn't REALLY mean that the MinuteMen were vigilantes. SURELY our President doesn't want such an amnesty travesty. SURELY he doesn't want to basically destroy the culture and composition of our country. Surely this, surely that. But, after a while, I just have to wake up.
It's been particularly hard on much of my family. Especially my sister. We made trips to Crawford, bought the oddball memorabilia; went to the Bush Library at College Station, etc. Nowadays, just the sight of GW on the television, and I see my relatives turn away their gaze, silently. It's really too upsetting for them to even air things out with talk.
Oh, well. Rush was terrific today, and I hope his support for our guys in the House helps strengthen their spines. The future of our country is in the balance.
Rush is feeling a sense of urgency with this, as he should be. Those liberals in The Senate have likely done lasting damage to the Republican party and the President has turned his back on the conservative movement. Right now the conservative movement needs a leader, and Rush is about all we have right now. These are bad times in politics, but things can change. We just straight up need a new leader, one who will do the job that the president won't do.
Rush had an excellent show today. Thank GOD he is speaking out.
"He's correct in his ultimate opposition but his rationale' and what he offers as an analysis is not only unlikely, it's totally implausable. It's regretable that when Rush has a chance to lead by intelligent examination he chooses instead to postulate some bizarre conspiracy by hyperbole. He's actually more detached from rational thought and reality than I had thought. For the past several years I just disregarded him with a laugh and attributed his wild pronouncements to being part of his schtick as a pretend entertainer (the harmless fuzz ball routine). But now I realize he's really nuts."
Can you try that again in english?
It must be a sickness that has infected a lot of DC conservatives.
They don't know what its like out here in the real world.
Tonight I was behind two slowmoving trucks and at a stop sign the lead truck just sat there. The truck right behind blew his horn.
Well that brought out the finger from the first truck.
After the second truck turned off I was behind the first truck.
On the back of his tailgate was a giant decal which said MEXICO.
My head still hurts from the rage I felt!
I'm sorry, that is one dot I refuse to connect right now.
I think it was looked at more from the "we need every "R" we can get right now", and A$$hole was the incumbent.
Nothing more. Including taking a good look at how the A$$hole actually voted.
You're dead on the money. I'm calling it that from now on.
Good points you bring up and something I forgot about. Years ago I saw three countries mapped out into ONE - USA/Canada/Mexico.
Anyone who ever did think that this was actually about immigration is naive.
Thank you!
OK, now this really just makes me sick (and a bit trigger itchy).
I had no idea that things had progressed to such a point as to have nations openly stating their intentions in that report - "Building a North American Community".
I have noticed things going on for a long time, and have connected the dots. Of course, I have been labled "paranoid", but I really don't think so - and the movement is out there to eventually merge into one socialist American union.
When that happens, our Bill of Rights will be gone (no 2nd Amemndment) - we will be subservient to the UN, WTO, and the IMF. And our wealth will be forcefully redistributed to the black holes of the 3rd world nation dictatorships.
Be very afraid - and do everything you have to to defeat this Amnesty bill in the Senate!
I agree with the above but as you said regarding Rush, I don't think you go far enough. This is not just about competition. The regional groupings are just the next, and most important step, to the coming world government. The CFR is actually calling for a global confederacy of 10 regional powers.
Rev 17:12-14
12 "The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. 13 They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings-and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers."
