Fine sit back and do nothing and very soon your vote won't matter...they won't need your vote they will only need your tax money in order to vote buy via entitlements.

Soon the minority will be paying all the taxes (the top 50% pay 96% of all income taxes now) and the majority will be getting handouts. Entitlement spending 2006 is 60% of the US budget--there isn't a Congressperson who is going to touch it and as long as the dough keeps rolling in they will continue to vote buy with it.

Republics demand responsibility and morality not only from the elected officials, but from the People as well. Sadly, the more the government hands out 'entitlements' the more apathetic the people become and both fail to fulfill the responsibilities required of a Republic.

But why bother even trying since they already aren't listening, might as well give up...how do you like your socialism?

Listen pal. I don't need your lectures. I could preach this stuff to you. I am a realist not an altruist. I was probably voting before you were born. And last year I paid 64k in Federal income taxes, so don't talk to me about the government confiscation. Back off.
