Much appreciated! Well, if I ever ran for office, I'd get one vote!
Hey - Don't forget about the Ray Nagin's school busses idea!
I'm kind of partial to that part of the plan, myself! LOL

Point is, the conservatives ( House ) are on the offensive and this Senate bill is an extreme defensive measure. It means to put the House in a defensive posture but they shouldn't forget that it is they who are on offense. The House needs to raise the stakes now, somehow.

I am not very active here due to family health problems. But, yes, I will ping you to middie when I see him. Be aware of VERY elitists attitude. And I don't see him often. . .

One last thing. Does Mike DeWine of Ohio really not want to be a Senator anymore?
He, and several other bad Republican senators are standing for re-election this year. Hopefully the good people of Ohio will retire him.

I sometimes disagree with Rush but by gosh his comments are absolutely correct on this bill.
The open borders Democrats and suck up RINOs can say what ever they want but this is a sham on all Americans.

Kondracke's co-host on "The Beltway Boys" (Fred Barnes) takes a pro-amensty position as well, and Barnes' fellow RINO country clubber at The Weekly Standard (Bill Kristol) has proudly announced on numerous occasions that he's "a liberal on immigration." The Beltway is filled with 'em.

I like that idea too! Too bad he didn't try that idea about a YEAR ago!!! =/:o)
BTW, I could hardly believe that Nagin---the most INCOMPETENT mayor I can ever recall---could have been in a RUNOFF, much less WIN again.
If the people of New Orleans can reelect such a COMPLETELY BUMBLING IDIOT in regards to evacuation when given several days notice that such a HUGE storm was coming, they DESERVE who they reelected and the INCOMPETENCE that goes with him! The rest of the country should NOT have to pay ANYTHING else to rehab New Orleans, a city BELOW SEA LEVEL!!!

You are dead on about where this is all headed. My eyes were opened last year from what my daughter was learning in her Political Science class. Her texts were
Globalism by Manfred Steger, and
International Politics on the World Stage by John Rourke. Here's a statement in the epilogue of the latter:
"There are few anymore who really try to defend the system of assertive sovereignty as adequate for the future. Clearly, it is not. What is less certain is what to do next and how to do it. Cooperation, humanitarianism, enlightenment, and other such words provide easy answers, but they are vague goals. Real answers are difficult to come by. They may involve tough choices; we may be asked to give up some things now so that they will not be taken later, to curb our lifestyle, to risk arms control in the hope of avoiding nuclear war, and to think of the world in terms of 'we.'"
Students were also provided with a copy of "The Earth Charter," the brainchild of Mikhail Gorbachev. At the link, click on Read the Earth Charter. It seems fairly benign at the beginning, but becomes alarming by the end. Read it carefully. You will also learn much by Googling the Earth Charter. The plan is for these ideals to be inculcated through the schools AND the churches.

Here's another good link that lays everything out. Everything in the essay is consistent with what my daughter was taught in her college class.

Also Google "United Religions Initiative" and "Green Cross," founded by Gorbachev. I also found useful information by googling "universal religion".

You dismiss Rush about the way I would dismiss your hyperbole.

Rush is completely right on this issue. I don't know where this country would be right now if Rush Limbaugh had not come on the scene 18+ years ago. HE is my American Idol.
To: Altair333
What this is, is a huge attempt by certain politicians, mostly moderate and liberal Democrats and moderate Republicans, to expand the federal government, to increase the numbers of people in poverty in this country by importing them via this immigration bill, which will set up the need to expand the "social safety" net in this country, which will then empower those who believe in big government. All it takes for evil to triumph is for Republicans to befriend, give in to, and act like, Democrats.

Hi Chik...
Spingola went through nine yards of rant, then summed it all up neatly in the last paragraph:
"Interfaith basically means a godless no faith sham of a one world religion which tolerates every possible deviant behavior and is committed to nothing."
"One world religion," is well documented in the end play for the "New World Order," carefully not being mentioned by todays activist "Globalists." There are many hidden meanings in the NWO, and among other things, the "one world religion" and how it will be achieved is one of their best kept secrets.

RUSH SAYS..." I think what's happening here, in addition to all that I've said, is that moderate Republicans are trying to destroy conservatives and conservatism.
Rush has seen the light. Thank God...cause hes a potent weapon.
Way back around the time of the Miers flap...I used the phrase "Coming Out Party" to refer to what I saw developing with the liberals, moderates / centrists in the Pub party.
What I meant, was that starting essentially with the second term in 2004, these lib Pubbie folks would make their move...to consolidate power and move the party to the mushy middle...where they feel it belongs...and where they feel they can capture the mushy moderate suburban yuppie / soccer mom Democrats who are not enthused with the Howard Dean eeeehyaww! approach to politics.
In order to do that..however, and have credibility with these Dem voters..they need a sacrificial lamb...a burnt offering of sorts to these lib and moderate Dem voters....to show them the Pubs are not really like...those folks....
Everyone who is educated, sophisticated, urbane, cultured, and successful knows that the average Conservative lives in a double wide...has bad teeth, and picks his nose at dinner.
What better offering to the Demographic Gods than Conservatives....the people everyone loves to hate.

The immigration Bill of the Senate is a Builderburger initiative. They are soon holding a conference in Ottawa, Canada to try and get the new conservative government there on board.
Soon Mexico and Canada will become part of an economic union where socia;ism and euro-environmental style politics will prevail. The new model for US society is a multicultural one, instead of Liberty and individual freedoms, we are supposed to move towards a Utopia of "tolerance." IN the middle of this the Islamofascisit will rise in this country, weakened by such Utopian wool gathering, and hand us our asses on a bloody platter!
I never thought I would have to fill the role of a chicken little, but behold, the sky IS falling!
The popular conservative movement must give up the ghost in this process and has been sold out. The aristocratic pubbies don't think we can survive the next election cycle as a movement in the USA. We have been abandoned by our president and his RINO running dogs, and the slaying of the popular conservative movement by the years of MSM propaganda is almost comp[lete because the head of its body has been chopped off. Tom Delay's ouster was the beginning of this process.
The popular conservative movement in the USA is now headless, and we must grow a new one. What patriot will step forward in this time of peril to lead us. Who has the courage and tenacity?
