Believe me, there won't be a problem. And Bloomberg's suggestion will not solve the problem you propose.

" Maybe the government could just tattoo the numbers on your wrist." I'd prefer a bar code on the forehead. Maybe they will give us the option. ;^)

Left wing politicians should be chained to basement posts Monday thru Friday and brought out every Saturday afternoon for a whipping in the public square. And they should be allowed exercise on Sunday in alligator infested lakes.

Bloomberg compared his proposed federal identification database to the Social Security card, insisting that such a system would not violate citizens' privacy and was not a civil liberties issue.
This guy calls himself a Conservative?
To: Mo1
Bloomberg is a lifelong Dem; he isn't even a "moderate" GOPer!
The ONLY reason he ran as a *cough, cough* Republican, is because he knew that he couldn't win the DEM mayoral primary.
He's been a lousy mayor...even as Dem N.Y.C. mayors go. Koch, though a Dem, was better; much better.
Bloomy didn't have all that much of a mind to lose, in the first place.
To: af_vet_rr
NO...he NEVER has and he never really even called himself a "Republican"; he just ran with the R after his name. Everyone KNEW that he was a lifelong Dem and hadn't changed his stripes. Bloomberg is a TRUE example of the term
RINO! Actually, he's even below a RINO.
Why on earth do you imagine that anyone,ANYONE, least of all Bloomy, ever considered him to be a "CONSERVATIVE"?
To: KoRn
This statist has never seen a government solution he doesn't like. But I agree with one aspect of his statism. I think we should pass a law, too. A law that dictates this guy can never hold office again.

Just put firearms in the place of legal workers and you get the idea.

Seems a necessary adjunct of the Right's position of immegration. Else one has no way of determining what one's status is. The question is whether one must also wear a colored badge on the lapel also.

Newsflash, Sherlock. It's not the legal workers we're concerned about.
Beautifully said.
