So what.

the Senate will kill it. And when the Senate finds a way not to pass it, the House kills it. It's a little game they play with our national energy needs.

Will Bush work as hard for this as he did for his amnesty, give away, for illegals? No way will he. He just about has what he wants, the immigration bill, and if he can get it through the house look for him to coast the rest of his term.

The senate will defeat this.

The Senate is run by liberals. This will NEVER get through them.

I don't believe this will go anywhere.

The truth is this country is going to have to experience a REAL energy crisis before people wake up.

If I'm not mistaken the Dems have more seats up for grabs in the Senate this mid-term than the GOP does so it ought to be interesting hearing the liberals try to justify protecting the caribou and the "pristine" environment in the face of $3.50 a gallon gas.

I like it.

I make this prediction:

The Senate will kill the ANWR drilling bill.

Everyone Senator who votes against the bill will be re-elected.

And there is nothing you personally can do about it.

This explains why the Sauds were claiming the price of oil was about to crash. They were trying to influence this vote.

I wonder how many eco-terrorists and greenpeaceniks will travel to ANWR to protest. My guess is not too many. I doubt they want to freeze their buns off.

This has passed the House a number of times. The Senate shoots it down everytime. I wouldn't get to excited.

Hasn't the house repeatedly approved drilling in ANWR to only have the Senate stop it?

The House always approves it. The Senate will kill it.

It sounds as though Barack Obama heard the out cry over his donation of ten billion dollars to Petrobas for drilling off the coast of Brazil. What was not so often mentioned is that the same company was granted the second highest value of leases in the Gulf of Mexico and is trying to buy the old ARCO refinery in Pasadena, TX.

At the same time that Obama was giving our tax dollars to a foreign oil company, Obama’s friend, George Soros, also made a huge investment in the company.

So, basically what happened is that Obama gave Petrobas the money for the Gulf leases and the oil refinery to go with them. He just ear marked the money for drilling off the coast of Brazil.

So, now he is trying to cover his butt by opening up the Alaska drilling.
