Will Bush work as hard for this as he did for his amnesty, give away, for illegals? No way will he. He just about has what he wants, the immigration bill, and if he can get it through the house look for him to coast the rest of his term.

If the President can't get this through the Senate--then he truly IS a 'lame duck'. If a Republican President can't convince a Republican Senate to do something as obvious as this--then it will never get done.

The President should give a prime time Oval Office speech pushing ANWR. Given the economic, geopolitical and miliary repercussions of our dependence on foreign oil--it is absolutely UNCONSCIONABLE that we are not drilling up there yet.

Shame on the President if he doesn't push this through--when we are 'this close' to getting approval (only a couple of votes--which could be turned by his using the 'bully pulpit', given the fact that the majority of people DO support drilling ANWR).

Drill it,,,,drill it,,,,,and then,,,,DRILL IT AGAIN!
