"We can celebrate Al Gore's movie release by voting to drill in ANWR"
Oh yes.
The best answer one can give a madman like Algore.

"The Senate will never let it through."
And that's new how?
Important thing hers is to bring it t a vote and make the RATS filibuster ANWR driling in an election ear, at a time of very high gas prices.
I like it.

Thanks for finding it. I started searching myself as soon as I left the site, I was so pumped to hear this I just had to find corraborating links.
I hope this continues to gain momentum!

If it doesn't pass the Senate, vote every Republican that voted Nay out. Get new blood in. It might take a few years to get it done, but get it done!

The good thing about this is that it greatly increases the likelihood of the GOP retaining contorl of the House. If the House stands firm on Immigration during the Joint Cmte. and only lets Border Enforcement, or No Bill, then I think we will have dodged a bullet re: 2006 elections.
If they cave to the Senate on any form of amnesty, they could lose control. IT MUST NOT HAPPEN, and the GOP must be the ones that appear to stay firm.

The House of Lords is detached from the populace on almost every major issue, and it doesn't care AT ALL.
A passive America populace has allowed itself to be governed by a ruling elite in the Senate, the communications and banking industry, and super-billionaire liberal corporate types who live like Arabian potentates and watch their country go down the tubes.
The House of Lords will not budge......and the populace will remain passive.

The Senate will never let it through. If W had any nads at all, now would be the time for him to sign an EO that implements the will of the house and opens the damned wasteland up for drilling. Clinton did this to close oil, gas and coal fields, W can do it to open them up.

There are only three RINOS up for re-election.
Snowe (ME) is safe as can be.
DeWine (OH) is in a battle
Chafee (RI) is in a battle with a Conservative in the primary who has zero chance of winning the general election
That's it for RINOS to take it out on in 2006 in the Senate. Basically, DeWine is it.
