This morning President and Mrs. Bush greeted Australian Prime Minister John Howard and his wife, Janette to the White House in an official South Lawn Arrival Ceremony as part of a state visit, followed by a meeting of the two leaders in the Oval Office, and a joint statement to the press in the East Room. There will be an official State Dinner at the White House this evening.

This afternoon President Bush congratulated the WNBA 2005 National Champion, Sacramento Monarchs at a ceremony in the East Garden of the White House, where he accepted a shirt and championship ring.

Coulter did a good job on her book about the Venona Project, but if you google "Venona Project" you can read the released report for yourself. It is quite fascinating to read about how badly our national security was compromised by the Roosevelt and Truman administrations

79% of the American public had a favorable reaction to the President's speech. Well, well. Maybe the majority of America isn't ready to tar and feather the President and run him out of the WH on a rail like some here on FR would like to have us believe.
